Zach Johnson, the “Millennial Farmer” is a 5th-generation farmer who’s spent his life growing, working, and learning on his family’s farm. His wit and dry sense of humor appeal to children and adults alike. A product of the millennial generation, his appreciation of new technology blends with his old-fashioned work ethic, and he offers a unique ability to deliver his message in a way that resonates with lifelong farmers as well as those with no knowledge of agriculture.
With growing consumer awareness about where their food comes from, Zach has identified the need for an independent voice from the front lines of agriculture. Zach actively promotes agriculture by sharing his day-to-day experiences in the agriculture world while providing farmer-to-farmer education to help facilitate a collaborative conversation between farmers and the public.

I know you guys hate sponsored videos, but they make it possible for us to put out the amount of content we do. Thank you to SimpliSafe simplisafe.com/millennialfarmer
Hi
Sponsored videos are no different than a tv commercial. I see no problem with it.
I have that also its great i certainly recommended
I appreciate that you do it with some humor!
I have thenolder version of Simply Safe which works, but the new version looks alot nicer!
The respect you have for the flag & also seeing a millennial care for their local church. Puts a smile on my face.
God Bless you sir!

Glad to see someone cares about the American Flag! Great job Zach, I am proud of you!!!!!! Keep up the great work!!!!!!!!!!
Good that the flag stands for all Americans and not for one part of the population.
Good work in folding the flag and seeing to it that it was disposed of properly Zach! Semper Fi!
@@tonyackerman6508 it's quite funny, it's just a decorated trash can

As a veteran.. thank you for treating colors with the proper respect
So many people disrespect the flag like it means nothing....it’s actually despicable. Many men far greater than you or I, have fought and died for those colors; that is the main reason NOT to do disrespect it. I don’t want to be acknowledged or even thanked for my service, or yours for that matter; respect and acknowledge those that have so graciously laid their life upon the alter of freedom. In the midst of death, we shall wage war.
Thank you for your service sir, thanks to you I was able to become a firefighter as well as be a farmer myself, I respect that flag with everything I got, I love y'all service members, stay safe out there

The dogs NEVER gets old for many of us!!
They are like my Shepard and boxer!!
I could watch them for hours!!!
Honor and respect for our American flag is highly commendable.
The one dog looked embarrassed to be snuggling up to cats. Diig? Digi? That was a hang dog look if I ever saw one! LOL.
I miss having your dad on the farm.. such a good gentle man. I think we could all learn from him!
Love to see people take care of flags, thanks again
I think I can honestly say this for all veterans. It makes me proud to see a civilian know and understand the proper way to respect and retire The Flag.
I just was listening to 98.5 ktis and heard about your neighbor you were helping harvest his soybeans after he unexpectedly died.
Thank you for being an amazing person!
Also thank you for folding the flag correctly and replacing the shut down church’s. A true American 🇺🇸
Safety for the family is always first! Glad they have you to look after them.
The strip till machine makes a lot of sense, From guy's I know they get by with 40% less fertilizer when planting into the strips. At that rate it wouldn't take long for it to pay for it's self, Especially since you already have the cart
Thank you Zach for replacing the Flag and disposing of it correctly! You make me proud.
Thank you for replacing the flag and respectfully disposing of it. It matters. 🇺🇸

Just ordered that coat for plowing season this year! Thanks so much for the recommendation
Being a veteran I want to thank you for the respect you show to our flag. From ensuring that there is always a presentable flag on the pole to the proper disposal of the used flag, GOD BLESS and stay safe.
Liked all the pets together staying warm on the mat.
Love the shut down. Now the REAL work of a farmer begins: Planning for next planting/harvesting season. In other words: let the speculatin’ begin. Thanks, Zach & Becky for so much learning and entertainment.
I love your videos and podcasts. You're a wonderful representative of agriculture. You put a positive light on farming. Thanks again.
Doing a great job with Family, Farm and managing life in general from Canada !
“15 months out of every year” Sounds like a 2020 problem to me.
Glad I wasn’t the only one that caught that ha
That is not an exaggeration.
You prolly want see the ground till spring now.PS thank you for folding it right Zack.
Very refreshing to hear and see a Dad get excited about tea parties and dances. Well done.
Zack, I already had the utmost respect for your and Nate. If possible, I have even more now. What a fine example for all us to aspire. Thank you for respect your showed your church and our great American flag. God bless to you and your family
I'm not a farmer. I am intrigued by all the things that need to be done around your farm. There is above all, one thing -other than being a Father, Husband and Son and I would hope the word "good" proceeds all those but it is your respect for our Flag that I could say with a hundred percent certainty, shows what kind of person you are. I am sure you are a good guy all around because it's tough to hide that with all you post but, the love and respect you show for our Country is one admirable thing that sticks with me the most. Good on ya! I hope you and your find your best days ahead of you.
I caught myself thinking that much snow looks fun and im starting to think I've got heat stroke and need to go sit down. I'll be back in a bit.
Zack I like how you make a statement with out actually saying it. Your a good guy!
Great job on proper care of Old Glory, and the replacement! We've got snow right now in Alabama too, and it's time to harvest it.......Cotton!
I’m planning on planting spaghetti in my straight fields and elbow macaroni in the crooked ones.
That actually makes sense
When the snow starts so does snowmobiling.

Watching you freeze your nuggets off I thank the Lord for being able to live in North Carolina put I still miss SW Florida but keep it up love the videos and your Sponsors for helping put this on. And by the way as an old FFA member and Officer I really enjoy seeing how much things have changed for the better in farming
Thanks Zach for taking care of Ol' Glory!! Much appreciated!! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
I understand your reasoning for security devices in this day in age. 45 plus years ago when I was young, the majority of people could be trusted. It’s a sad reality that we live in anymore!!
Can honestly tell you're a farmer and not a truck driver. Especially in the winter you never set your trailer brakes
Hes gotta get sophisticated and get some of those fancy disk brakes no problems🤣 no better way to start a day swearing at an objects thaf dont care while beating on them
My favorite part, he doesnt plug his trucks in! Some good cold starts on equipment. :)
@ B S nothing better than seeing a cold start
If you like cold starts you should see one on a 34000 hp engine, not something that’s normally done but when it is it’s impressive.
Unless you've had a lot better luck with your air supply than I have.....they'll eventually set when the air pressure drops anyhow.....so why not set them? Sometimes they hold air better after they're set....you know that
Love the STAR for the grain bin!! We had one on our grain bin when I was a kid.
You’re a great dad Zach. Not many dads would stop work to judge a gymnastics competition. Thanks for setting a great example of how to be a dad.
I loved the flag replacement. As a veteran it truly touched my heart..
Can we add 'Jim Cam' to the list for spring prep?
Hope all of yall are doing great again today ☺ 👍
Thank you for not only being a great farmer but also a great American, respecting old glory 🇺🇸
It’s a good thing you have several “Wrong Vibe Correction Tools”. 😉

I remember when we were kids locked doors was a rare thing people knew if you were caught stealing I’ll stop there but nowadays you can’t leave anything unlocked or unattended so sad
That’s right, we could walk into each other’s house whenever we wanted to in our neighbourhood as kids. These days, you have to schedule an appointment. 🤣
You really think locking your doors stop people? Not around me if they want in they get in.
When the middle class shrank the number of poor desperate people increased.
It's that simple.
The majority of money goes to the top instead of being paid to the workforce.
@@SbrGrendel65 it does around here. Some people still don't lock their doors. Leave keys in their cars.

Wish we had snow in Germany😕The part with the dogs really got me😂
I had to replace my flag to, if you can't find a place to dispose of the American flag properly, you can make a fire and burn it and say the Pledge of allegiance. AMEN and Amen
To properly retire the Stars and Stripes you must first separate the canton (blue field w white stars) from the stripes. Followed by burning.
Or throw it away while no one looks, it's just one flag, it's not like there is a shortage of flag in the US 😂
@@jeanlafrance8746 integrity is doing the right thing when no one is looking 🤷🏼♂️
