FULL EPISODE: • Why I AM ATHLETE Broke...

Get on the bus with NFL players Will Compton & Taylor Lewan! The Boys are letting you in on their hilarious, high-energy (and often heartfelt) conversations. Topics range from exclusive stories to active player perspectives to out-of-left-field hot takes on things you and your friends only discuss behind closed doors. Sometimes they chat with a guest, sometimes it's just the two of them, but it's always a good time when you're Bussin' With The Boys.
And yes, this is the podcast where Mike Vrabel said he'd cut his piece off for a Super Bowl.

No lies..... since Fred & Chan pivoted, I haven't watched I am athlete since. 😂
Same bruh
Facts
I see what u did there 😂😂

Ocho is more entertaining than all of them. Channing is 2nd.
Channing: the drunk uncle
Fred: the wise uncle
Ryan: the know it all uncle
😂
Damn..I am the drunk uncle...the wise uncle...and the know it all uncle...facts
Perfect description 💯
you nailed it!🤣
True! I love it!
Ryan is baby Brandon
I love this message…just because we can’t build together, doesn’t mean we’re enemies, we can create in different spaces, and still serve the community….I love it
The problem is they was building its a difference if they had not accomplished anything
Fuck that
czcams.com/video/EiNJ4c9cFg0/video.html WOAH WHO SEEN THIS??
I maintain the I Am Athlete podcast gave fans what they always wanted. Uncensored big name players talking about ball, life, and experience. And now The Pivot is delivering that exact content we want. We never wanted gyms, or branding. We wanted the stories, personal experiences, and advice while also laughing our asses off.
Yea but I mean I agree with you , but you can’t fault someone trying to make more money out of something that has a mass following
That was the problem. The monetizing was too “in your face”. Tacky asf and arrogant.
Once they had that woman on there saying NFL players are slaves debating with Channing I was over it.
@@TheDownsie14 lmao what episode was that!???

I think it might have actually been an earlier episode but it will make your skin crawl.

The fact that they can maturely say that they just weren't invested into the same picture, and overall it was just better for everyone to step aside is a great example for the young guys thinking everything needs to be a battle. Big ups
brandon pulled a joe budden and thats the problem when friends start stuff.. they never want to talk business because business is serious and uncomfortable... those conversations have to be done before everything starts or it will become a extremely uncomfortable break up... the growth is what got to brandon head and he seemed on the podcast to be exactly like how joe budden didnt appreciate his team and thought he was the head honcho
I now watch IAA for the guest and Pivot because of the host. There's a difference. Much success to both podcast.
The only ones I watch are for the guests now I don't like b marsh as a host too much I fw Chad though
CORRECT!
Well put me too bro

Fred Taylor is One of the most underrated Running backs ever. Even as a bills fan, was always a fan of the way he ran the ball.
He was amazing fr
Fred Taylor was that guy and he was AP before AP they run very similar

He has a tattoo that says limited edition. He is 1 of 1 for sure and deserves a spot in Jaguars history. I don't know if it's HOF but he is one of the best in Jaguars history.

Revenue share and ownership is not the same. Fred dropping big gems.
Oof
Yup. Revenue share is the same as commission. Way different than ownership
Fred's response was PR perfection! I wish more people "listen before they talk" like Fred!
Facts I never noticed how Brandon was interrupting everybody😂😂
I love that Freddy T is gaining more exposure.. it’s gonna help his case in the long run. He’s been underrated for far too long.
Should've been first ballot. Used to run with the 96 Jags all the time on Madden.
Bro Internet Fame doesn’t get you into Canton stfu doesn’t care abt Canton
Facts. That Jaguars squad was nice.
@@uriamudeltoro5075 I disagree bro. It’s not just “internet fame” ..it’s exposure. Right or wrong, name value on and off the field impact a guy getting into the HOF. There are guys in the HOF who arguably, shouldn’t be in when you look at their numbers. On the flip side, there are guys who produced on the field who have to wait or may not get in because of negative exposure - shit that doesn’t have to deal with fuck when it comes to football.
The more Fred talk the more sense he makes.
I'm glad he told us what's up. It was a business and Fred wanted his equity. Marsh tried to take advantage. Now he wants to control the entire I Am Thing. I am surprised Ocho didn't leave also. As long as they got Ryan they winning. He's a great host and ESPN talent. Marsh is trash on ESPN and a bad host.
@MrDdub619 as a podcast host he as in Rc is horrible if your saying Bmarsh is trash 🤷🏾♂️
Yeah I can rock with Fred he makes a lot of sense discussing equity and being able to take the high road.
His son plays for the colts.....top 3 running back in the league
@@tadesewalker161 that’s not his son. Lol. His son name is Kelvin Taylor. He played in the league a lil while.
Fred and Channing made IAA podcast blow up so they won’t have a problem with the Pivot doing the same!! 💯💪🏾
Chad was great too.
@@yayo2211 I’m sure we all agree that Brandon did a great job getting the team together, but if his ego would let him be great as a host instead podcast star. He was also the worst on the show lol

The Pivot is one of the best podcasts out
I havent watched IAA since. All I need, is for Chef Nancy to Join The Pivot, and My podcast prayers will be answered.
Fred Taylor was my favorite on that podcast cause he was always the most quiet. He didn’t talk to just talk. He thinks before everything he says.
Its refreshing to watch a show with Fred Taylor and Channing when the host actually lets them talk
Idk. Cause Ryan be cutting people off too!
Nah Ryan be cutting them off regularly
Not like BM
Ryan cuts ppl off i actually had a back and forth with him on Twitter which he says he'll work on it but BM will cut u off and change the ENTIRE SUBJECT
@@robert3k yes!!! That turned me off IAA. B Marsh would keep cutting people off and not letting them finish. If he didn’t like what they were saying he’d cut them off and change the subject!
You can tell Fred is relaxed and letting his hair down since the pivot! Love to see it! ✊🏽
Pause
Letting his hair down smh
He has to be otherwise it’ll fail
So glad to see they can agree to disagree and move forward. That's grown men shit! Best of luck to Pivot and IAA!
I was always there for Channing, Ocho, & Fred. I’m glad to see everyone is doing what they want to do.
Ocho still with IAA
Marshall makes it unwatchable for Me

@@TheAddy360 sadly
Fred spelled it out. They weren't getting paid what they agreed upon but they were cool with it and B Marsh used that money to grow the podcast. Fred thought that meant when it came time to really get the paperwork done the money he never received would give him certain equity in the company and BMarsh disagreed that it should be less. BMarsh wanted them to share in the profit but not actually have a piet of the business. It's the same thing Joe Budden did to Rory and mal.
Rory n mall are no Channing n Fred tho 😂😂😂😂
That’s what happens when emotions are involved stick to the script and agreed upon payment
Yup!!!
It's called the Joe Budden podcast so I can't believe that Rory and Mal would believe they had an ownership stake in that? If they did, why allow the change of name? Owning and creating something is a little bit more than co-hosting too. Maybe it would be good to do what Swiss and Timbo did with negotiating stock for artists who participated but I believe that is in Triller, the things that is really making some money. But I don't think turning up to co-host means you own it. BM should have paid them what they were owed and got a loan to grow the brand further. If they didn't agree on the profit split then they did the right thing to end things amicably and I think they will do better doing their own thing. I just don't understand the expectation of ownership aspect unless you are actually fronting up money to invest in the growth?
@@tuesdayschild8994 for the shows first couple months it was named “I’ll name this podcast later”. They only changed it because joe is a known rapper and it would help with exposure. They have sweat equity in the brand. They used Rory’s email as the first primary email account. Just like Fred and Channing the show doesn’t exists as it is without them.
Anyone who’s watched the show “I am athlete” from the beginning could tell that there was 2 groups in 1 on the show. You can definitely tell who the boys were. With reading this title I already knew it had to be about the money from the jump!
Everything is ALWAYS about money!
Fred was so right! There's enough space for everyone! Much respect! I'm a fan of both. Let's support black businesses!!
Fred and Channing are literally some story tellers. I love listening to them speak.
Brandon was tripping. Make bread with your brothers and break bread with your brothers. Together they was building a beautiful thing.
Fred laid it out perfect
Yes he did
Facts
He always was amazing show def not the same.
I like both IAA and Pivot. I like this Podcast too. It’s a blessing to watch…it’s bringing the culture forward
I actually watched it because of Fred, Chan, and Ocho. Three different personalities, and I love them all.
I never watched it because of Marshall, period. Now I watch the Pivot every show.
The pivot with Marshawn is 🔥🔥🔥
I like them 3 together and they’ve got guest that we wanted on the show fasho. I think they will do big things the chemistry just natural.
If Fred Taylor Started his own Podcast. I’d be the 1st to subscribe. Fred Speaks from the heart. And you can tell he has zero hidden agenda. Fred Taylor one of the realest dudes I’ve ever listened to
The bus looks so cramped with all of these BIG Guys in the room lol! Loved having the candid conversation about what happened.
Respect to these two Brotha's on their vision and then the desire to take the high road and create greatness on their own podcast. I support them 100%. IAA needs to also have the utmost respect toward the "PIVOT" as well. There's so much room for everyone to be a winner in this game. However, I did see a slight by Brandon of IAA when the lady chef was talking about her dream of owning a food truck, and she mention in gest the word "PIVOT" - Brandon wanted to feel some way about it as he sarcastically laughed is a demeanor not becoming of a friend to his fellow friends (Fred and Channing) and that made me take him down a few pegs. Come on "B" you gotta give Fred and Channing their flowers as well and keep it moving forward. RC is a great fit for the PIVOT, and I wish everyone nothing but the best.
They went into it on some brother hood, love stuff … Brandon had a “Business Plan” all along. They learned a valuable lesson about business…”Always Protect yourself” and have a “Plan” in place.
Neither side is wrong
It’s dumb to think it’s not a business.. this wasn’t some teens just creating a podcast.
Especially after football, Brandon knew he had to know the business side. It’s on them for taking way too long to learn the business side
@@ChillRichard Facts! Channing doesn’t seem very bright to me. Fred? He just got caught slipping.
@@taharqa332 and it seems like they still don’t get the business of it cause they’re trying to act like all they want is to talk… I wouldn’t be surprised if I’m a couple of months they also end up separating and starting their own podcast
Yep. There are no friends in business. The true sharks know this and will play on emotions of those who don't.
Love all these guys. Much respect and wishing you all blessings.
Sounds like they started as an outlet of brotherly love and neighbors during the pandemic and it grew from episode 1. Brandon always had the name and was smart to tie it into his training facility. So from an evaluation standpoint he put money upfront frost snd owns the name and others wanted even or close to equals equity. So I can understand why they left and I think it’s room for both sides to thrive. I think the biggest takeaways are having your business/paperwork together and the fact that they split amicably without throwing each other under the bus in public. That’s maturity and the definition of professionalism and I love to see this amongst Black men or anyone for that matter.
AMEN🙏🏽
your profile picture is how I feel about this comment
anyone that has had success in the mainstream can apply the same and blow up. What trips me out is when they get big they are quick to sign with zaddy and give out all their rights away. Look at the "up in smoke" podcast. Those dudes didn't need HBO.
Both podcasts are good and should not be compared one to the other. The brothers are winning and that’s all that matters!
facts sis!!!!!
Facts
It’s Brandon Marshall’s loss! Fred and Channing were an intricate part of the podcast. Ever since they left he’s been having different athletes and the chemistry isn’t as great! I still watch both but I Am Athlete was gold! So glad Fred and Channing found their niche! 💜
☝️💯 Ocho is great for IAA but Brandon should have handled it better they were the talent
Brandon didn’t want them to have any type of ownership. He saw it has his vision, his investment, his podcast. Little did he know Fred and Channing were the podcast. His loss for sure
As he should have though. It’s his baby and that’s okay. There is enough space on the CZcams streets for both to eat. They can still be friends.
I think Brandon put the initial investment into the podcast. I think for them to buy in at a later date, it was much more than Fred or Channing wanted to pay. Ideally, you would hope they could have worked it out, but Brandon wants to grow the business into several lanes. Fred and Channing didn't seem they wanted to do that. I believe everything worked out for the best. I think the mistake would be to think we have to choose sides. If you want to watch one podcast, you can, or you can watch both.
@@hospitaladministrator3359 being too big headed can be a downfall in the long run.
Exactly
It seems like once Brandon got off of first thing first he need to make up the lost income. As they grew Brandon saw more and they just wanted the podcast. Which all of them created. And it spring into something bigger then what they all expected. Friends or no friends please get your paperwork tight
Fred is a true OG in every since of the word. He could’ve taken the low road and tried to get all his content removed. He kept it 100 all the way. Too bad they couldn’t work it out together but much respect.
What i like about RC is that he knows how to start a conversation and keep it going. That was a weakness IAA has always had and now that the comic relief and wisdom left its sputters.
Can wait for podcasts with players this off-season
They were very classy about it. I appreciate that and I love their podcast. I will subscribe and watch you guys too.

Man that crew was perfect…this type of stuff never last long.

Low key I thought Brandon was the least valuable member of the pod. Too keep it a whole 20 nickels.

Very good explanation Fellas I have watched all your podcasts and I'll keep watching!
Glad they're still doing their thing. A positive pivot
I believe them. Brandon seems highly emotional, based off the few episodes I saw...even with all the therapy work.
You right
Brandon uses his mental health issues as a crutch to act the way he does. I respect his movement and sympathize with his struggles but it starts to wear others around you out eventually and you can tell these dudes had enough of all of that.
@@FlyRenagadeDMV all facts
@@FlyRenagadeDMV you don't know his history no one fakes mental especially years ago and lose millions he had issues
If Brandon didn't use his emotion the show would be worthless. People confuse mental health with passion.
I subscribed, followed, recommend and shares both of these shows since I discovered them. And this is why Fred Warner is a smart man. They broke up, and he took the high road and kept it professional because in the end there are enough fans who only want to see great content. Each show benefits from each other. For example, I found the Bussin with the boys simply because I follow The Pivot and IAA, and all I care about is content. Channing is the funny man on the Pivot, and Ochoa Cinco is the man on IAA.
I have a wonderful Fred Taylor story. From his playing days. Super Stand Up guy. My Family will 4 ever be Grateful. Keep up the Great work fam. You Got my Support.

Faxx, when Fred was geeked hanging with beastmode last episode I was all geeked w them haha
That's the fanatic mentality you have going on.
@@kurokaizen1889 It's actually a parasocial relationship. Very common in today's age. It's what content creators are aiming for most of the time because the more people they can connect to them the more money they can make. I suppose some content creators also do it solely just to get their message out there.
It's because you watched them " grow " as people/player(s) as you were growing yourself. Everybody has that same feeling. Same for music as well and musicians as well

The Pivot is the best podcast out there. It’s the balance of RC’s intensity, Channing’s humor, and Fred’s leadership.
Even when IAA was at its best, Brandon Marshall made it unbearable to listen so many times. When Fred, Channing or any guest would start saying a lotta real shit, Bmarsh just had to interrupt EVERY CHANCE HE GOT…. cuz that dude loves to hear himself talk
