Please watch: "Battle of the Ultimate Chopping Knives! Which is the Best!??"
• EXTREME Battle of the ...
~-~~-~~~-~~-~ - Zábava
Don listen to all the people that tell you to stop the skits. I personally think the comedy element is what makes this channel so unique and great
Bob Nelson nobody said they should stop the skits. but there are videos that are literally 80% skit 20% actual knife content. it should be the other way around. they don't have to act silly most of the video to be funny
Thanks for your kind comment Bob!
People really can say what they want and we're happy they do! In the end we will allways do what we feel is right and with that we will not please everybody every week. If we feel like making a comedy than we will without a doubt make a comedic video because that will make us proudest on that specific moment and the same goes for the more informative video's. Thanks for your kind comment man! cheers!
Yes plz keep them coming!!! I've been subbed a long time and I love the skits!!
Dutch Bushcraft Knives вы лучшие !
Yea i really enjoy the knife reviews. They are very educational but fun at the same time. Keep it up.
Gentleman, I gotta tell you, my fiancé was diagnosed with colon cancer last January. She hasn't laughed this hard in months boys! It's been a very rough road, little things like watching her laugh hysterically at your videos make my day. Thank you gentleman, your bringing knowledge to the fellas, and smiles to our ladies, well done!
Man you have no idea how much this means to us!..
We wish you both so much strength, luck and all that you need to get through all this! We will continue to make you and you're Fiancé laugh as hard as we possibly can :D.
Please send her our support and love and we wish you both and you're close ones all the best in the world.
Laughter is the greatest cure, even though it might not be able to heal diseases..
best CZcams channel about bushcraft knifes on earth
domergan4 on earth yes but that channel based on Jupiter is rocking first place in the solarsystem
Have you ever seen them taking a knife outside of the yard?
Stevan Social I think there yard is in the middle of the tiga Forest
Lance. I think you mean Taiga forest. And No. They are Dutch and we don't have Taiga forest here in The Netherlands. That's why I was talking about 'the yard'. The forest we have left here feels more like a backyard. Still it is a nice channel and funny, obviously inspired by some other channels about bushcraft knives. Not my channel btw, bcs I suck at filming and can't edit and I'm way to serious. But I do know about bushcraft and have tested many knives in the field. Hultafors is represented by Snickers Workwear here in The Netherlands and was basically only used as a work knife. With the Dutch Bushcraft Association I introduced the Hultafors brand in the small Dutch Bushcraft world by using it as our instructors knife and also selling it too the people taking our courses. But 70% of the time I use my bushcraft knife for food prep. 30% for other camp tasks like making small kindling. So one very important thing about any bushcraft knife I use is how easy it is to clean and how much water does it take to clean. Not important if you are camping at the shores of a lake but very important if water supplies are limited.
Stevan Social .....
Forgive my misspelling The taiga is a region or biome not the name of a particular forest if I'm not mistaken the Netherlands is within that regionwww.blueplanetbiomes.org/taiga.htm
LOL you guys crack me up!
TA Outdoors hi mike or dad /jaxx love your channel as well :D
+TA Outdoors haha thanks a lot!
yo Mike, you and your dad always crack me up Jaxx is the best out of you three though ;)
Can you please do a budget sharpening video? ( sandpaper, convex sharpening ) thx
tatiana arteaga yes
tatiana arteaga sand paper works fairly well ,I've used it to sharpen a hatchet before
I use a (cheap) easy to carry diamond sharpener to restore the blade from dents, chips, nicks or burrs and for the (secondary) convex edge I wear a leather belt to keep my pants up and hang my knife on. When the knife just needs sharpening take out my leather belt, put some toothpaste on the inside and use it for stropping.
Eh you can convex on wet stones. Better that way.
@@AG.Floats most folks aren't big on carrying a *whetstone around with them.
I like how the Mora robust is the last one standing at 5:04
I guess it was meant to be
Swedish budget power!
I want an entire skit dedicated to muscled hammer guy. Please.
+Zerokat10 we might do it someday haha it's a good idea
Do it
Hey DBK, nice video as always!
How about a long Camping-Video, where you guys maybe build some shelter,
sit around a fire, Dutch Oven cooking, Knife Talk, ...?
Greetings from Germany
+zpraycan we have such a thing in mind. We are getting a product soon hopefully which would suit that kinda video
Thanks a lot guys! Next week I am going camping for 3 weeks. Based on your tests I will bring Mora Robust and Hultafors OK 4 with me. ;-)
I just bought the Mora Companion and I'm excited to use my first knife!
Bought many knives so far and I only regret one thing: I regret not starting with morakniv. Honestly I didn't like their design but they were recommending the mora garberg so I ended up buying one... then another and then another... and now I want another. It's the best brand out there... the build quality... the steel... heat treatment... sharpness... it's just outstanding... and the comfort? Godly.
I LOVE MORAKNIV AND ITS ALL ON DUTCH BUSHCRAFT KNIVES!
So, I'm glad for your new knive!
Use it with pride!
This brand puts to shame all the others!
@@danielhristov6175 i got a normal companion and the heavy duty versiom, both..can i use them as my everything knives? For batoning, bushcraft survival everything?
@@insanodeathguy2160 the Mora yes
I just found this channel and it's quickly becoming one of my most favorite channels
Keep up the amazing content!
+Siki Rebirth yessbless! Thanks mate, hope we can keep givin you laughs
Have had the OK4 for about 12 months now and its stood up to everything that has been thrown at it, great little knife!
the skits are probably one of my favorite parts of the video and you guys still get the point across. nice work you guys are great!
Im a lady
Never leave us!
Dutch Bushcraft Knives i wont I promise 😊
YouSuck Lady is a man without a dangly dong and a beard.
FindValdo Hey man, ladies can have beards too. Nice ones at that.
BajaDeezNutz Damn, you are right. So a lady is a man without a dongly dinger. Or actually at this day and age i quess a lady could even actually have a dingdong hanger.
One of my favourite videos so far. You guys deserve so many more views, you're awesome!
+Will Ease thanks a lot will!
Back on track with an excellent balance of fun and informative reviews! Very enjoyable.
+Matt Klapman thanks a lot Matt!
Thanks for the vid guys!! You keep me laughing but well informed 👍👍 Next week's vid, the "knives you'd trust your life with!!". See you both next Thursday.
the reception on your sandvik chisel surpasses my wildest dreams. you guys are terrific. stay sharp!
I look forward to every Thursday for you guys! ALL original stuff. love it.
Thank you, guys, for what you are doing.
Your videos are the best. They are informative and very entertaining. The production value is incredible.
+mermaniel thanks a lot!
I just got my Bark river knife today, Amazing!! Thank you so much for introducing them to me.
+King Merka you are very welcome! Congratulations on the great purchase
The comedy is why I subbed this channel and I don't even have a bush knife but you guys are tempting me with a Mora.
Really enjoy the video's guys. I hope you have as much or more fun making the videos as we do watching them. Your extensive knowledge of knives, steels, ergonomics and grinds is very impressive and the tests you put the knives through are the best around. Really love the polish finish Maarten put on the A1-pro..beautiful! All your shenanigans inspired me to make a couple of my own knives using the stock removal method on 1095 x 15n20 (damascus steel) and canvas micarta scales for a skinner and bushcrafter. Fun and rewarding experience. Thanks again for the educational and fun videos! I look forward to the next adventure and learning more about sharpening/polishing~
+Backcountry with Shaughn thank you so much shaughn! We enjoy it a lot !
You guys just get better and more insane. It's great. One of the best videos so far.
Sadly I can't get that in the US easily.
Absolutely love the theme. Everything is crazy
You guys are awesome! Thursday knife day! Keep up the amazing work guys 😂
I love the skits that you guys are adding at the beggining of your videos
DBK is Awesomeness Thank you!!
..well.. now I have to buy the Hultafors Ok4... bedankt gasten! ik had ff dit duwtje nodig! ;)
Gerrit Geerhart Knives & Outdoor, I am SO glad you wrote that because I didn't know how to spell it. Thanks.
I love your guys sense of humor
Your creativity is ever improving and I love it
All the DBZ references, might as well call the channel Dragon Ball Knives, DBK
I own all of these knives, Only thing I’d say is that the ok4 has a micro bevelled edge and the moras are a true scandi grind so for me it’s the mora every time! Great video brothers enjoyed it 👍🏽👍🏽 Best wishes for the new year fellas 😎✌🏽👍🏽
This video was very entertaining and very funny. I love this channel!
Great video, very funny. Good one guys!
You can take a file to the back of the mora to make it scratch fire steel very well.
You guys are great!! Keep it going!
Nice editing gods also the knife comparison was very good .Love your videos
+John Pr cheers John!
This was a great review of these knives. Excellent!!! I have all 4 and love them all, and Mikki is right, these perform above many knives costing much more. Wonder what the score would be if you were allowed to sharpen the Mora's spine. Personally, I like the Mora Companion HD the best of all 4.
You two make me chuckle thank you for the video
Eindelijk een goeie budget knive, leuke video en thanks zal m zeker kopen
great video as always guys! love the DBZ references
I love you guys and i watch all your videos you deserve a lot more subscribers than you have, if not for great quality videos, but the sense of humor you have. good job :)
Hi DBK, what do you recommend for a small foldable (~3" stainless blade)?
I love my ok4 , it truly is a great knife , I'm a big mora fan but not having that 90degree spine is pain in the but...
Thanks for sharing guys !
Take care
Nick
As always great video!
Great comparison! I often thought that Mora was terrific, but there was probably a better quality alternative out there in that price point.
Thank you!!
That hammer scene was pretty sick, it looked awesome
can you guys do a full video on the hultafors ok4
I ordered mora companion spark knife , i can't wait to have it
Soooo, the video has been up a few hours and the recommended knife is already out of stock! I hope Knives and Tools send you a nice "Thank You" card! Great video as always, great mix of info and stupidity!
+Andrew Gorman haha thanks a lot Andrew!
You guys crack me up. Keep up the great videos! And yes, I buy the stuff you recommend
Mickey great impressions. You two gentlemen have really uped your productions, sometimes it's distracting but I guess keep up the good work I'm just jealous I couldn't do it.
Killer video. Thanks guys.
Still making me laugh every time I watch your videos , great humour!
I love my Mora Robust 😉
Martins kleine Outdoorecke same
What would be the better option for a good quality but affordable bushcraft knive, the Mora Robust or the Mora Companion Heavy Duty
Hi DBK, as always, I enjoyed your video. However, I would appreciate more technical data about these blades. More importantly, I would like your detailed observations about the results of each knife, such as the condition of the steel after all of this abuse. Your ability to seriously evaluate blade steel is uncommonly good and I would like to see that come back. Cheers guys!
The best opening 8 seconds of any video. I spit up my beer...
Nice vid. I bought an ok4 right away. my edc is an Mora robust
does anyone know what the name or brand of the big knife with the wood handle at 1:11
Liked before watching great work as always!
Best channel hands down! Cheers from Chicago!
+kinetoscopes thanks a lot!
I can get companion and opinel in the stores. But I bought heavy duty and buck 110 and others from internet shops. We can buy Hultafors for ax , I don't see OK 4 yet.
Another fine video. Well balanced and funny. I think the v's comparison is a good way to stay unbiased (as possible), rather than a single product.
+Marco Manzi thanks a lot my friend!
Hi guys, which of the Mora robust and Hultrafors Heavy would you choose? Thanks Michele
mora robust
Very entertaining video! I would love to see how the entry level Marttiini knives hold up in this company.
The Mora Robust does not strike a ferro rod out of the box. But the spine is unfinished. I rounded mine near the handle where my thumb sits. But squared it off further down so I can strike fire. Then polished it up to be pretty. Best of both worlds. With an unfinished spine, you can make it your personalised knife.
+Rayford Grubbs very true! It only takes 5 minutes to make it able to scrape a fire steel
Remind me not to watch your videos while I'm drinking. :D Great review, guys. Budget knives rock.
Hello DBK! I really do like your videos. I agree with Bob Nelson: You are cool this way, STAY FUNNY!
Please do more budget knife tests. Mora Eldris and Mora Chisel seems interesting. Im planning to change my EDC folder to one of those, so it would be a big help if you could test those.
"Introooooooo" 😂😂😂😂👍
The "God dammit" killed me. 😂😂
good channel always makes me laugh. i look forward to every week
Mikkie should just leave the mustache lol. You guys rock!! Take care brothers
thanks guys !!!
Hultafors OK4 this is not outdoor knife, is a survival knife. OK1 it's outdoor knife model, as indicated on the knife sheath.
Amazing video, thanks!
Okay, off to the local knife shop for a Hultafors.
Great Work Guys!, Ive found the SK5 of the hultafors outdoor bushcraft knife a little on the soft side in comparison to the moras UHB-20C
+Mark Anthony Stringfellow it indeed felt like the damage on the hultafors was slightly more heavy. However I was really surprised about how much more comfortable the hultafors ok4 was which made it a winner for me
Dutch Bushcraft Knives The handle is nice I have to admit and at the end of the day at the price point of the entire group we should have them all :-)) Another odd-ball made of the same steel as the hultafors Sk5 is the Bahco wrecking chisel knife in both a chisel tip and a knife shaped version, rather like a large puukko knife, got one for around £15.00, great full scandi grind, too fine for wrecking as it can fold a little but for bushcrafting amazing light chopping performance, all in the geometry and great belly. heres a couple of pictures, one with handle removed s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/736x/0b/85/df/0b85dfb37cf5b1c4533565608b15d618.jpg and rusknife.com/uploads/post-13385-0-73233500-1456519348.jpg Enjoy!!!
I love Mora Pro Robust.
you make the funniest and the best videos on earth!
how many times during a video do you laugh at your selves will filming? because I wouldn't be able to make a video with you two. would love to hang out with you two haha
+SC bushcraft backwoods especially mikkie take around 5 shots sometimes before he can get serious. Very... Very time consuming hahaha
Dutch Bushcraft Knives I bet. but that's ok because it's fun
Very "normal" wood processing use.. Great review guys!!
I enjoy these videos
Do you think you can do a budget sharpening video (no Japanese water stones)? It would help a lot
sometimes Jamie is a little much, but it's all good. I love that you guys can make me laugh and put out great reviews/industry knowledge.
Can anyone tell me the name of the green jacket he wears in the Mora Robust video?
+Christian Benfell pinewood juptr jacket
you dudes are the best!
Good info, and always big fun. A breath of fresh air amidst all the tabletop talking hands unboxing sheit channels :-)👍
i think this might just be the best knife video ive watched lol
I've carried a Gerber ferryman guide for awhile, for a budget knife it's gone beyond my expectations.
Thinking about buying one.. How has it held up?
You should sell a soundtrack cd of your music its awesome where do you get your music?
I want to see which one would win Mora robust vs. bk2 blade against blade
bk2
While cutting up bricks and metal is... interesting and does show the knives toughness maybe showing some knife stuff might be helpful too, like how long it held its edge how easy/hard it was to sharpen, what angle the edge is etc. or just saying it if you don't want to show it.
the dbz music is so good!!!
tyfs atb hagd
Great Video Guys! I'm curious, when does the the tip of the GK Heavy Duty brokes?? I didn't saw it in the test (Sorry for my english)
+JuanTomás En when we were making the slowmo shots with muscled hammer guy. We got a spark from the first blow but didn't capture it so we hammered it around 10 times to try and get the spark again. In the end the GK tip broke but because we hammered it so much we don't want to mention it. It would leave a bad taste while every one of these knives could've been the one after this many hammer blows.
Oh i see, then is all fault of muscled hammer guy xD Well now i know what happen to that tip. Thanks for answering! it means a lot. Greetings from Argentina!!
Funny and Informative! Im going to to buy the OK4!
+SharkBro thanks a lot my friend!
i love you're videos guys you are awesome!
well, i tried to baton a small piece of birch wood with my new bark river aurora 2 in cpm 3v. The edge looks like a saw. I am very disappointed, any idea how to get my money back? By the way i used a piece of wood as my baton and i did not hit it very hard. It is the worst and most expensive knife i own, what a good combo.
+SuperScience894 that is very very extremely weird!?!?!?!?!? Bark river has a no questions ask warranty and you should be able to contact them and get a new knife or your money back without questions. Good luck!
Dutch Bushcraft Knives thanks for the reply, i am both surprised and disappointed. I will try to get my money back from the store I bought it from. Its by no means the stores fault, they could not know bark river sold bad knives. I think during grinding the heat treat might have been ruined by a new guy.
