This is really a very important video. Thank you Coffee Cat for alerting us. We need to make sure we don’t have these plants near our fur babies. My Ficus likes to chew on grass. I hope there aren’t any grass that’s toxic to cats. 🙏

Thank you, dearest Coffee🐈 and Mom❤! Your vid was the first one I've ever seen that mentioned not only the dangerous plants but also the pet-friendly varieties🪴.
In my flat, however, there are no plants at all. But I've found another solution: I absolutely adore clover🍀🍀🍀. Before New Year's Eve I always buy some of these little clover pots and place them at the window in our stairwell😊. Clover is really dangerous for kitties, so I can't have it in the flat. But in the stairwell I can water the plants, cultivate them and watch them a couple of times when walking up and down the stairs😉. The other people who are living in the house can enjoy them, too. They've often told me how much they love the sight of that window🍀. I've got what us Germans call a "green thumb". My clover always survives more than a year - without doing any harm to my girlies 😊.
There are so many things a cat owner has to know before getting the animals. Sometimes I'm shocked how unprepared and ignorant people are! Not only concerning plants, but also in many other cat topics.
One thing that's hardly ever mentioned is detergents used for cleaning in the household. 🧴🪣🧼 For example: I know numerous people who use scented sprays to refresh the air. Basically it's a nice idea. But I always have doubts if they could possibly do harm to their respiratory organs or even more! So I never use these sprays. I just open the window😅. Some detergents and sprays are labelled as "safe for pets", but I don't trust them. Cats' noses are very sensitive.
Does Coffee Cat know anything about harmful cleaners for floors, carpets and similar things? The girlies and me would be very glad to learn something new😅. And Coffee knows such a lot of answers🤓.
