OMG, many of those chemicals you mentioned I have in my home except for Glen 20 and other outright dangerous chemicals like formaldehyde, etc. Unfortunately we don’t have or I’m unaware if there are pet friendly cleaning products or disinfectants available in my country. As much as possible, I wipe away the chemical residue after i disinfect a surface. Thank you Coffee Cat for reminding us. I will be more diligent in keeping away Ficus when i have to use some of these cleaning products.

Most other vids on that topic only underline the danger of certain substances, but so far I haven't watched one that mentions ways how to avoid the (expensive) dangerous ones by just making good ones youself.
Born in the early 60's I've learned to do a lot of household works by using things like vinegar or soda. Maybe, their cleaning effects were not as "shiny" and "brilliant" as today's products. But they did their cleaning job pretty well and hygiene was guaranteed. Most modern products have a strong and strange smell😷. I've never liked them, so when I got my girlies 8 years ago, I wondered what to use to keep the flat clean AND without toxic substances.
