YES, my Coffee 🐈 sweety, you've answered all my questions in the very cutest way❤❤! I think your Meowmy has only had to help you a lttle bit with the uploading😊. My girlies who were watching the video together with me told me that everything is true. ❤ Both are so glad that you've mentioned the onions, the plastic bags and the topic of opening new bottles🍶. I told you about the onions and garlic yesterday. Many humans dislike that smell, too, so I've never been too surprised. As far as the plastic bags are concerned I can tell that I made that experience many years ago when I was still living with my Auntie. We used to go almost every day to a lake where lots of ducks and also a friendly swan couple were staying. Aunty and me always had some pieces of bread with us, packed into a plastic bag. Both swans knew us and I'm sure they liked us. They even allowed us to come VERY close to them. They never did so with other humans. But whenever we opened that bag they looked irritated and the feathers at their necks stood on their ends! At that time we had almost no experience with animals, so we often wondered about the reason. 🤔 When I got the girlies it was the same with them. I came to the conclusion that animals in general might have a problem with that, but I haven't come so far as to compare it to the sounds of a hissing cat! Thank you, dear Coffee, for your perfect answer! The same holds for opening a bottle of mineral water or soda. I have alwasy a bottle in the living room and in the kitchen. As soon as I reach out with my hand towards the bottle the girlies jump up with a frightened look on their faces, ready to jump away as quickly as could be 🌪. It's the hissing sound again! For about a year now they've got more trust in me opening the bottle as I've started to pick it up gently and slowly and turning the cap in slow motion, so that the noise is reduced to almost zero. They're very thankful for that😊. One thing you didn't mention is the immense danger caused by cat owners SMOKING in their households😷🤢. A friend of mine has got an indoor cat and uses to smoke inside the flat, even when her cat is in the same room! I've often told her to stop it. It's a way to shorten the kitty's life!!! But she is too lazy to leave the flat when smoking! Cigarettes are toxic to every creature😢. It's a wate of money and I think cigarettes should be abolished by law anyway. But as long as they are available everywhere there will always be careless owners who will go on. Maybe, she will listen to you, my friend, when you mention it in a video🚬❌️. Your videos make my days brighter and better. You often confirm that my way of living with the girlies is OK and adequate. Oftentimes I get practical advice for things I'm insecure about. I wish i can make Ficus eat fruits. In small amounts, some fruits are good for cats. He’s a very picky eater 😞

A very important video, my dear ☕️🐈 and Leeanne❤! After watching it, I just ran out to check my girlies' food bags🤔. From their very first day with me I was always cautious and avoided sugar, as it is very dangerous, too. There are still some brands here in Germany that use sugar in cat food. But thankfully many shops don't sell it any longer, as they don't want to sell harmfull food. About four years ago they started promoting food with a high degree of insects. It's free of sugar, salt, fat and other bad ingredients and seems to be quite yummy. My kitties love it and are always disappointed when it's sold out. Do you know it, too? It also gives lots of proteines to the kitties. If you can buy it in Australia, please try if Coffee likes it, too. My girlies recommend it highly😻😺😋. And you're so right: us owners are responsible for the well- being of our sweeties❤. I myself love onions and garlic. At first I was afraid the girls would perhaps take one or two pieces, but, thank God, they run away as soon as they see and smell these things. Hot dogs & Co are no topic for me because I've been vegan all my life. I think they are pretty safe with me😊. But one question: how can I make Aspie drink more water. I'm sure she doesn't drink enough, especially when it's warm or even hot. Do you (as a smart cat) know any methods for a cat like her? I'm grateful for any advice😊😉🤗. Hey, my Coffee 🐈, I don't think that your behaviour was shocking at all😂. He just wanted to check all your papers, your grocery list and the power cables. I know what he was thinking: "Meowmy spends so much time writing! Now I have to read her lists to find out if she has forotten something."😉 Did you notice that he used his left paw most of the time? Male cats are left-pawed in general, whereas females tend to use mainly their right pawsies. It seems to be true😊. Coffee is your cat-shaped nurse🐈😸😺👍. If he could, he would certainly prepare you a yummy meal or a ...☕️. By the way: is he talkative? I think I told you before that my girlies are very different from each other in this point. Schlumpfie talks for hours and hours and is hard to stop📣. Aspie is the silent type of cat. But when she meows it sounds sooo sweet to me🫠🥹. Back to your papers in the vid: the habit of sitting on top of a pile of documents is nice to look at. But if you're a teacher you will often find your cat sitting on some class tests or even exams🤫. Taking away the papers in question is dangerous, as they can end up torn and ripped 😱. I had two rippen class tests, felt very embarrassed, but told the truth to the students. Thankfully they were not angry. Most of my students like my girlies a lot. Some even gave me little presents from time to time🥰😇😹😻. See you later, my two-and four- legged friends! 🎉💯% my taste!😉 From the beginning to the end I had to think of my Schlumpfie who looks like the three amazing cat girls in their cute dresses. At first they were surprised to discover the little robot, but they soon discovered that he is a friendly helper! In the end he even watched over their sleep! Thaaaank you, dear Coffee🐈 and Leeanne for the very first and best vid about pet-dangerous chemicals AND THEIR SAFE ALTERNATIVES! 🙌👍 Most other vids on that topic only underline the danger of certain substances, but so far I haven't watched one that mentions ways how to avoid the (expensive) dangerous ones by just making good ones youself. Born in the early 60's I've learned to do a lot of household works by using things like vinegar or soda. Maybe, their cleaning effects were not as "shiny" and "brilliant" as today's products. But they did their cleaning job pretty well and hygiene was guaranteed. Most modern products have a strong and strange smell😷. I've never liked them, so when I got my girlies 8 years ago, I wondered what to use to keep the flat clean AND without toxic substances. Thank you so much, ☕️ Cat, for your intense research! Now I can go on happily using my DIY cleaning spray based on soda and vinegar. Your vids should be watched by every cat owner! The sweet kitties who guide us through the vids are an extra bonus. They're so friendly and always make me smile😊❤. Today I've even found lookalikes of Aspie and Schlumpfie🥰. Once again I'm grateful to have found your channel some weeks ago😄😉😸😃💜🩵💜🩵🙏. That's so true....look out Superman....you haven't got nothing on a cat 😺👍👍! Cat's hearing, night vision, sense of smell and so much more are so superior to a human being it's not even a competition. And l recently read that it's now been discovered that cats do have the ability to see colors. Have you heard about that? I always felt that our feline friends 🐈‍⬛🐈could see see colors... their eyes 👀 are so developed in many ways it just doesn't seem like it could be otherwise. OMG, many of those chemicals you mentioned I have in my home except for Glen 20 and other outright dangerous chemicals like formaldehyde, etc. Unfortunately we don’t have or I’m unaware if there are pet friendly cleaning products or disinfectants available in my country. As much as possible, I wipe away the chemical residue after i disinfect a surface. Thank you Coffee Cat for reminding us. I will be more diligent in keeping away Ficus when i have to use some of these cleaning products.

Thank you for this valuable information, Coffee Cat. With regard to food, Ficus is quite picky. He eats mostly wet cat food but he dislikes certain types like those that are mainly chicken or other poultry meats. He prefers fish especially salmon. 😊

Thank you, dearest Coffee🐈 and Mom❤! Your vid was the first one I've ever seen that mentioned not only the dangerous plants but also the pet-friendly varieties🪴. In my flat, however, there are no plants at all. But I've found another solution: I absolutely adore clover🍀🍀🍀. Before New Year's Eve I always buy some of these little clover pots and place them at the window in our stairwell😊. Clover is really dangerous for kitties, so I can't have it in the flat. But in the stairwell I can water the plants, cultivate them and watch them a couple of times when walking up and down the stairs😉. The other people who are living in the house can enjoy them, too. They've often told me how much they love the sight of that window🍀. I've got what us Germans call a "green thumb". My clover always survives more than a year - without doing any harm to my girlies 😊. There are so many things a cat owner has to know before getting the animals. Sometimes I'm shocked how unprepared and ignorant people are! Not only concerning plants, but also in many other cat topics. One thing that's hardly ever mentioned is detergents used for cleaning in the household. 🧴🪣🧼 For example: I know numerous people who use scented sprays to refresh the air. Basically it's a nice idea. But I always have doubts if they could possibly do harm to their respiratory organs or even more! So I never use these sprays. I just open the window😅. Some detergents and sprays are labelled as "safe for pets", but I don't trust them. Cats' noses are very sensitive. Does Coffee Cat know anything about harmful cleaners for floors, carpets and similar things? The girlies and me would be very glad to learn something new😅. And Coffee knows such a lot of answers🤓. Hello Coffee Cat. I’m learning a lot from your videos. You’re right about cats having different personalities even if they have the same coat color and pattern. A vet once told me that a solo kitten that has been raised by one pet owner tends to adapt to the owner’s personality. I was telling the vet that my sister who has a quiet personality had a ginger cat that was very quiet too and seldom meowed. Whereas my cat Ficus is so talkative and is always having a conversation with me. So when the vet said that a solo cat adapts to the owner, I am inclined to agree. What do you think, Coffee Cat? Did you adapt to your fur mum’s personality? 😊

Hi, dearest Coffee🐈 and Leeanne, how many hours of reasearch have you done before editing this vid? But first of all I want to say "sorry for not writing earlier!". I have got a lot of paper work waiting to be done. The annual tax declaration is only one of them. I hate it, because it's soo boring😢. But back to the orange cats! I don't know very many of them, unfortunately. I think you forgot "a stray cat called Bob" in your list. He was really famous for his big love and trust towards his owner who was homeless. Bob managed to litterally save his owner's life due to the unusually strong bond and deep love between them. To my mind there are similarities between orange cats and red-haired people. Most red-haired humans are pretty unusual in their behavior and often have special ideas about life. I myself like every shade and colour in cats. My girlies are a Tuxedo (Aspie) and a tricolour (grey, white and some orange). That's Schlumpfie. They're very different as far as their characters are concerned. I'm so glad that I've got just these two cats. Aspie is very quiet, doesn't talk a lot, very creative and she loves to follow certain rules. Schlumpfie, however, is called a "lucky cat" due to the three colours. She has always been the dominant animal. She can talk all day long and loves to simply enjoy the nice sides of life. Aspie always likes to tackle things the hard way, whereas Schlumpfie takes things a lot easier😅. When I had caught Covid in April 22, Aspie used to come to me, gave me headbumps and tried to activate me somehow. Schlumpfie sat close to me most of the time and talked, talked and talked😂. I often imagined she was going to prepare a dinner for me or to ask for a shopping list 😂! Both have got a golden heart💛. I know that you, my Coffee Cat, are doing the same for your Cat Mom🥰😍💝💖💗💞. I’m at a loss for what words to say after watching this video. I wish there is something I can do to make you feel better. I am just glad that you have Coffee Cat by your side. Our pets are our healers too. My cat Ficus helped me a lot during one of the darkest moments in my life. When I got infected with Covid, my sister Diane got infected too by me. I isolated at home with Ficus and the pets. Diane was brought to the hospital. She was in bad shape. She stayed in the ICU until she abruptly succumbed on the 17th day. That was so heartbreaking. She was my closest sister and we lived together in our home in the countryside. It was devastating. Suddenly it was just me and the pets. I had very dark thoughts. But you know what, the pets around me were my lifesaver. Ficus was by my side throughout the ordeal. He has given me so much comfort and solace. I still suffer from a mild form of PTSD and I have bouts of depression now and then. I can say that making videos for OurFurryTribe and meeting new friends from around the world have a positive effect on my mental health. We draw strength from our shared love and passion for our beloved pets. I look forward to watching more videos of your handsome Coffee Cat, Chubby Cat, and the Chubby Kittens.
