My girlies who were watching the video together with me told me that everything is true. ❤
Both are so glad that you've mentioned the onions, the plastic bags and the topic of opening new bottles🍶. I told you about the onions and garlic yesterday. Many humans dislike that smell, too, so I've never been too surprised. As far as the plastic bags are concerned I can tell that I made that experience many years ago when I was still living with my Auntie. We used to go almost every day to a lake where lots of ducks and also a friendly swan couple were staying. Aunty and me always had some pieces of bread with us, packed into a plastic bag. Both swans knew us and I'm sure they liked us. They even allowed us to come VERY close to them. They never did so with other humans. But whenever we opened that bag they looked irritated and the feathers at their necks stood on their ends! At that time we had almost no experience with animals, so we often wondered about the reason. 🤔 When I got the girlies it was the same with them. I came to the conclusion that animals in general might have a problem with that, but I haven't come so far as to compare it to the sounds of a hissing cat! Thank you, dear Coffee, for your perfect answer!
The same holds for opening a bottle of mineral water or soda. I have alwasy a bottle in the living room and in the kitchen. As soon as I reach out with my hand towards the bottle the girlies jump up with a frightened look on their faces, ready to jump away as quickly as could be 🌪. It's the hissing sound again! For about a year now they've got more trust in me opening the bottle as I've started to pick it up gently and slowly and turning the cap in slow motion, so that the noise is reduced to almost zero. They're very thankful for that😊.
One thing you didn't mention is the immense danger caused by cat owners SMOKING in their households😷🤢. A friend of mine has got an indoor cat and uses to smoke inside the flat, even when her cat is in the same room! I've often told her to stop it. It's a way to shorten the kitty's life!!! But she is too lazy to leave the flat when smoking! Cigarettes are toxic to every creature😢. It's a wate of money and I think cigarettes should be abolished by law anyway. But as long as they are available everywhere there will always be careless owners who will go on. Maybe, she will listen to you, my friend, when you mention it in a video🚬❌️.
Your videos make my days brighter and better. You often confirm that my way of living with the girlies is OK and adequate. Oftentimes I get practical advice for things I'm insecure about. What a good luck that we have met here!💓💗💕💙💢💚🙏🫶.

Hello there, Aspie, Shlumpfie and Nicki, my lovely friends ❤ I didn't think of smoking. It amazes me that people would smoke inside and make their homes smell so much and I can't imagine the effect on the poor cat. Here in Australia there's been a huge ban on almost all Vapes and yet Cigarettes have just got more and more expensive.
