- Today we are going to take a look at the new radical red update that brings in so many new and awesome features like hisuian pokemon, an entire new postgame and so much more quality of life changes! For those who don't know what radical red is it's a very hard rom hack based on pokemon fire red with level caps competitive teams and much much more.

Awesome video! I actually did a Hoenn-only run recently and Flygon and Altaria came in so clutch! My mega altaria ran cotton guard, roost, Flamethrower and Moonblast which did really well but not as well as your set ran!
At first all the quality of life items/tools that Radical Red gives you may seem extremely OP, but even with all those items the game can be extremely difficult
I am still stuck at Sabrina's Gym. Her trick room+Expanding Force team is so annoying 😩

Just was gonna say my favorite moment ever for radical red was my second Giovanni fight. I had a torterra with self efficient ability, the moves were seed bomb stockpile curse and rest. When I kinda set up on his first pokemon thinking he was gonna roar but didn't. So then since I was using leftovers self efficient with rest I was able to bulk up and slowly wittle down his entire team. I tried to make sure I was ready to counter his entire team but ending up soloing it so I was very happy with that small but great victory

FRZ actually also works like burn, but for special attack (reduces sp.atk by 50%)
Just a heads up, Focus Sash taunt leads will always taunt if you have a set up move, regardless of if you're faster or not, so faster mons can get a free set up move before being hit with taunt. I always use Swords Dance on Mega Sceptile for that very reason
Inspired by your old video I tried the normal monotype on this game, and it was really fun! Castform, Slaking and Zangoose are absolutely broken, so if you try this challenge again I suggest to use them

On vanilla Radical Red, Sceptile carried my team! And the best thing is, I could literally slap him into any weather team and he would still kick ass!

If you looking to nuzlocke Pokémon emerald and want one in place so you don't cheat and your Pokémon follows you give Pokémon emerald cross a try ( plays like emerald or can have random modes etc ) it's really good trust me

I've just finished Pokémon Unbound (You should try playing it sometime Zwiggo) and there are a LOT more quality of life features in Radical Red, which makes me interested in starting a playthrough on my own, maybe even on the hardest difficulty. I just dislike trying over and over to capture a Pokémon with a good nature/IVs, preferred gender, etc, specially when the game kind of forces you to do that. Radical Red seems to understand that some people ain't got the time to pray to RNGsus for every useful encounter on a playthrough lol
the hardest mode has minimum grinding active means all pokemon have max iv and no evs

There is actually also a puzzle battle lady in the 2nd city's school she give a healing skill that can be used 6 times and can be refill at a pokemon center. I alway don't know if it's the Vermillion or Veridian City.

Tried this run myself. Let me tell you that all of the boss battles are SO hard. Everything from the rocket admins in cerulean cave on are insane

How to beat the Friendly teacher As quick as possible
*The Friendly teacher is actually very easy, it can be done in a few steps
*Choose Skarmory, Aron, and Gible as your Pokemon
*Send out skarmory first, and set up stealth rocks, you have sturdy so you can set up easily (DO NOT USE SPIKES)
*Then send out aron, and use roar, it will send out the next shedinja which will die after being hit with a stealth rock
*All the Shedinja will die except for one with heavy-duty boots, switch to gible into a shadow sneak or X scissor (which are all the shedinja's only moves) and it will go down along with gible because gible's rough skin ability. hence, winning you the match

Druddigon and Hisuian Goodra were my defensive and special defensive options respectively. Druddigon with rough skin, Rocky helmet and roost combo was very good pkmn. Again, he help me to win against Lorelei's ice type team with snatch stealing ninetails's Arora veil for my advantage. Mega Sceptile's speed plus technian boosted bullet seeds and scale shot was very impressive. Kommo-o and Dragapult being special attacker and Haxorus with priority First impression were good fit for my mono dragon team.
