  • Join me on an adventurous journey as I make Hot Process Ice Tea Soap: Summer Treat For Your Skin. This video showcases the unique and exciting stages of hot process soap making, from emulsification to the final stage where it's ready for the mold. Watch as the soap transitions through fascinating phases like trace, volcano (the fold), applesauce, mash potato, and achieving a Vaseline texture. Each stage brings its own challenges and delights, revealing the artistry and science behind this handcrafted soap.
To achieve the look of ice cubes I used melt and pour embeds. In the videos you will see my oops, and my challenges with cutting the Ice Tea Soap. The soap smelled so good, just like a big refreshing glass of Ice Tea in the summer time.
If you are new to soap making you might ask yourself "Why Hot Process Soap Making"? The Hot Process method offers the distinct advantage of immediate use once cured, unlike the Cold Process method which requires weeks of curing. This technique not only accelerates the soap-making process but also allows for a more hands-on approach to controlling the superfat in the soap, which can not be done in cold process soap making.
Do you have a special soap you like to make for the summer time? I would love to hear about it.
Don't forget to like, comment, and subscribe and share. I would love to hear from you and it helps the algorithm .
