Whip Up Fluffy Soap With Just 2 Ingredients From Bar Soap!

  • You can make 3 items with this 1 recipe; whipped soap, bubble bath frosting, & body scrub!!! I'm showing you the easiest way to make whipped soap! It's quick, easy, & only requires 2 ingredients (making it inexpensive to make as well)! It's beautiful & produces a ton of suds, foam, & lather! It's pretty much amazing!!!
    BAR SOAP RECIPE: 3 ounces [high quality] grated soap, 100 milliliters (3.38 ounces) water. OPTIONAL: 1 tablespoon (.35 ounces) sodium coco sulfate (additional foam/lather), 1 tablespoon (.30 ounces) stearic acid (swirls more defined), 3 milliliters preservative (Germall plus, linked below), 10 milliliters fragrance oil. ** The preservative isn't needed to make the soap, but it's highly recommended to extend the shelf life of the soap & to keep the soap free from mold & bacteria. ** The soap ratio to water in this recipe is very high. It may not look like it's going to melt, but it will. Also, the soap may come out with very small lumps, but they're not noticeable once piped.
    MELT & POUR SOAP RECIPE: 3 ounces soap, 150 milliliters water (5 ounces), 1 tablespoon sodium coco sulfate {This is an emulsifier & gives the soap a smooth consistency. You can try a different emulsifier, but I didn’t since the SCS worked so well}. OPTIONAL: 1 tablespoon (.30 ounces) stearic acid, 3 milliliters preservative, 15 milliliters fragrance oil.
    CHEAP SOAP: You can make it with cheap soap, however, SCS (or a different emulsifier) is crucial. Otherwise the soap is stringy & doesn't blend well with water. Cheap soap produces a clumpy consistency, but it isn't noticeable once piped. Start with the Melt & Pour recipe & go from there. Depending on the soap you're using, you may need more or less soap.
    BUBBLE BATH ICING: Add 1-2 ounces of a bubble bath-maker. For a list of bubble bath-makers click here: • Bubble Bath-makers: Dr...
    DIRECTIONS: Boil the soap & water a few minutes to make sure everything is dissolved. The soap will thicken as it cools. Cool soap under 100 degrees Fahrenheit (37 degrees Celsius) to add the preservative & fragrance. The soap should be really thick once fully cooled. *** The soap firms up quickly & gets drier the longer you leave it out. But, it will never get rock solid hard like an actual bar of soap. SHELF LIFE: 6 months-1 year.
    ISSUES: If your soap isn't thick enough, melt it down & add more grated soap base! *** If the soap is too hard to stir or pipe, microwave it in 3-5 second intervals, stirring after each session, until it is workable again. Or you may need to remelt it & add more water. It'll thicken once cooled.

I already had you down for the month of July with a totally different product but then I had to make bubble frosting today anyway so I decided to highlight you today and try this recipe of yours, in bubble frosting form. I made the bar soap recipe and added the amount of water suggested and it was only enough to make the soap wet. I couldn’t boil it and had to keep adding water to stop it from clumping up. I used 3oz of the Shea Olay soap. Also, when adding your fragrances, do you find the scent strong when mixed with the fragrances of the soap? - Thanks so much for this tutorial. Any help would be fantastic!!

      I used regular Olay I think. Did the same ratios suggested. Didn’t work. Can’t remember how much more water I had to add. Second attempt I used a food processor and made a fine powder. Did 2 Oz powdered Olay soap and 3.5 Oz water. This time it came out VERY stringy. I kept beating it by hand until it was almost a big mound of… so added balsam fir fragrance and lip safe green mica (no dye/lake) and kept beating. Was trying to make it into a Xmas tree. About half hour in from piping and the soap must be too heavy as it’s sort of collapsing into itself. Think this would be a home run at area craft fairs, but am at a loss with what needs tweaking. I used less soap because I figured the powder was probably more dense. Hopefully Dora will see this and give us a little more insight. 🤞🏻🤞🏻

      Update: I used 3 (30mL) scoops finely grated strawberry mint Olay, and 8 (30mL) water. Mixed it together, constantly stirring. After soap was dissolved I stuck it out on the patio for 10mins at 36°. Top looked hard, brought it in. Gave a dash of peppermint oil. 10-15 sec whip and it seems to have worked. Got it 5” tall. It is SO decadent. Even the boyfriend loves it! Thank you Dora!!❤❤❤❤❤

    If you leave the whipped soap in a sealed container, does it stay soft and creamy??? I like the name Rainbow pebbles, that's a really smart name! You could market those! Thanks for sharing a super simple whipped soap recipe! It seems like were cheating, lol!

    I'd call them " bath gems" cos sprinkles just sound like the ones u get on doughnuts and I don't fancy that on a bath or wash, N rocks don't sound luxury for a bath or soap so gems it is cos they are rocks but no one calls them rocks when they associate it with luxury

      @CreativeBathLab  Před 2 lety +4

      WATER + SOAP = 2 ingredients. EVERYTHING ELSE IS OPTIONAL & not necessary to make the piped soap like you see here. I made tons of little piles of whipped soap with just water & soap.

    that was not soap but synthetic detergent bars. Not high quality. SCS is rather harsh on the skin, I would suggest that you use real soap and SLSa instead. And please never use aluminium pots, it has to be stainless steel or glass.

      @@CreativeBathLab Sodium palmitate is in no wise a skin stripper, but it's true that Dove, Caress, and Olay bars are not made of soap.
