Today the State of interest is Arkansas. The Natural State. Arkansas Real Estate is Diverse to say the least. Including prices. Properties as low as $30,000, $40,000, $50,000. It's hard to find property w/ a well and septic for that, let alone one w/a Log Cabin. Looking for Land? Arkansas has Land for Sale too.

The problem is, you can't get any decent workers for the fixer uppers, or even to finish out a brand new home. If you can do the work yourself, then it's a win-win.
We sold our 9+ acres in Ark because of crappy justice system. Adjacent land owner exerted an easement that didn’t exist and he didn’t need. We fought it like others before us and lost. We finally sold.
Arkansas has the worst justice system. Watch the easement and get it in writing before you touch a property. I’m still angry at my life dream being lost and eight years of hard work put into something an idiot judge couldn’t protect for us. No easement was even necessary for the neighbor to access the property. That even erases an existing easement if another access becomes available. But let’s not forget an easement never existed in the first place. It’s maddening.
I did the $30k - $50k search in New York and there were 184 listings. Interesting to see what's out there.

If you’ve never been to Hot Springs and taken a bath or drank the water before, you’re in for a treat! After one week of being there your body internally, will feel better literally AND that water is soooo good for your skin! No joke, every time I’ve visited Arkansas I felt better than I did when I got there 💯👍

I don't know about those travel times. I guess it depends on where you live in Arkansas. I live in Booneville, Arkansas. I can be in Oklahoma in half an hour. Texas in about two to two and a half hours.
