Edwards mansion is now a templar stronghold. That's SO insulting. I HATED the way they handled edward. He deserved another game AND a better ending.
I wouldn't mind another game. (Despite my mind hoping that some glitch in the animus would happen and all 3 kenways somehow end up in the same place) But another game as edward... oh man I'd buy that in an instant.

I always felt that they could have made more games about Edward Kenway like they did with Ezio. Not the same character by any means, but they both had a massively attractive storyline that lasted their entire life. Edward's life was kind of forced into one game I thought. Which was a shame because I seriously miss the navel battles and general sailing in the game and everything about the pirate life, not to mention the shanties.
Stephen Hovenden Keane True but let's not forget Ezio started at a very young age and went through various stages of life with many by his side during; Be it his brother or Sofia etc. By the time Edward finished one single chapter of his life he lost everyone around him. His wife left him and died. Blackbeard was killed. Mary Anne died. Adewale left him to fight.
I can only imagine a continuation in London, and frankly i wouldn't want to play a game like AC Embers where Kenway ends up dying.

This seems neat because it shows that even though Edward retired from being a pirate it shows that he's still a pirate at heart keeping pieces from the Jackdaw and his old gear, even enscribing a Sea shanty to be the key to open his hidden pirate man cave :)

It's the morrigan, not the jackdaw, you can tell by the flatter design and longer mainmast, while on the jackdaw the foremast was longer than the mainmast. The jackdaw was the one shown at 8:20

Black Flag... probably the the best AC game (apart from form AC2 off course). The memories man sooooo good. I miss just striking off to the open seas and brawling Man-o-wars and legendary ships. Those were some good times.

AC2 is not overrated. I can see why you would say this today, with better gamplays and mechanics implemented throughout the years (I must admited that the parkour used to make me kinda angry, though).
But believe me, in it's release, the game WAS incredible. The evolution from the first was mind blowing.
Also, the storyline and soundtrack are on the top of the series, easily.

@@NoU-pf8fc Oh my God you should the combat might feel a bit jarring at first but you'll get the hang of it and don't be afraid of the parkour system if you're confident it's going to be easy also it has THE sickest armor in the series but no spoilers
This was my favorite mission in the game, you got a feel of Edward being in the room somehow, .. a silent spirit observer watching in the shadows, smiling to himself when they cracked the musical notes code and opened the cellar room door :)

Original Jared You do realize, a document on a computer that you can hack in ac 4 basically predicts most of the recent ac games right? The French revolution (Unity), Jack the ripper (Syndicate dlc), and pyramids and pharaoh's (Origins). That was in 2014, and look at us now. We had a game with an assassin during the French revolution, an assassin in the industrial revolution, and now the most recent assassin climbing pyramids. Everything is still leading up to now. Just gotta look past the fact that it's no longer Desmond's story. And more people have ancestors, and they don't even have to be related to ones before them, they can use the dead's DNA to look through their memories in the animus.

The story of Rogue made me feel Assassins and Templars were both hypocrites..Shay Cormac was so right in his shoes.
The ending to Edward's tale from the moment he met his daughter to the end of the Kenway family as a whole really stirs up some raw emotions, just amazing. Didn't think much of Edwards character most of the game. It felt epic and fun to do the things he did but once he met his daughter, ahhh man...he got a seat right next to Ezio in my book.
Like several others, the legacy stuff like this might be the reason I get this game. Plus Evie seems like the closest thing to a proper Assassin since Ezio

the fact edward kept thatch’s hat, meaning he would have had to go back and retrieve it from the wreckage, and then take it all the way to london with him, and the fact that the song to unlock the vault is a song about a man who’s wife died while he was away at sea, the perfection of this hits different
Captain Edward Kenway. The Greatest Pirate Assassin had ever lived. If I bought AC: Syndicate and played it without knowing, I definitely broke to tears just by exploring what he left behind.
For those who don’t know Edward moved to London after the death of Caroline later he died in the same mansion and his son blamed the assassins because he believed that the assassins attacked Edward and that is why in assassin’s Creed 3 his son is a Templer and the jackdaw was handed over to Edward’s original quartermaster until it was given to the assassins and then mysteriously found at the bottom of the ocean in assassins Creed freedom cry

Honestly, thinking back on it, there's something to be said that Lowlands Away is the song that gets played on the piano. Edward probably took the time to learn the piano playing that song, thinking of his lost love and years spent out at sea everytime he played it, filled with grief and regret. It's so terribly poetic, really pulls at the heart.
Like his love was still his crew and the sea. I like to think the people who served him held Edward in the same regard in their later years

Then I got a new one so I wanted to play Black Flag again but I had to start again I’m at 90% sinc and I just want to know if the optional objectives that you do while doing main mission count towards 100% sinc, bc I didn’t do them

That's why I love these series. I love how they connected Ezio and Altaïr in Revelations, I love how they connected Connor and Aveline in Liberation, Adewalé and Shay in Rogue, Edward and the Fryes in Syndicate and, of course, Shay and Arno in Rogue. Their stories are all different but they always have certain connection in the end. And I also want to point out Watch Dogs and Olivier Garneu (I have no idea how that thing is written :D)

Black Flag was the only AC game I ever got 100% completion on. I was just so absorbed in every aspect of the game, I had to keep playing. Easily my favorite and one of the few if not the only game to have an ending that actually pays off for once. This segment only makes me want to go play it some more
