    This is cool man love seeing you figure it out as you go. Although... not sure why you didn't watch other vids that already show the bumper cover removal needed? Either way nice vid, doing this myself pretty soon once I get some other things sorted with the coupe.

    Did your afs light turned on? Bc I got a g35 and my afs light keeps blinking idk if bc I don’t got stocked lights or one of the sensors isn’t good

    • @SethWard1114
      @SethWard1114  Před 3 lety

      Um I’m gonna answer that as a no. I just looked up what the afs system is (because I’ve never heard of afs before) and my car does not have that. You must have a newer g35 and if it is on it’s probably because you have aftermarket lights.

    how does the downroad light output for these Spec-D headlights compare to the factory headlights? How is the quality of these? fit on your car? any water leaking or lens fogging? I'm thinking of replacing the factory headlights on my Honda and don't like that I cannot inspect the Spec-D before purchasing. Thank you

    • @SethWard1114
      @SethWard1114  Před 3 lety

      Hey man! These lights are pretty great. The one thing I will say is that they shine everywhere and are super bright. Even though they use the same bulbs I think the lenses are much wider, which is both a good and bad thing. The fitment is nearly perfect. They feel like the same quality of materials as the factory headlights, and I’ve only had one small issue with fogging right after installing them, but they are ventilated perfectly and I’ve had no issues since. I definitely trust Spec-D. These lights are great quality.

    • @SethWard1114
      @SethWard1114  Před 3 lety

      I actually don’t have any bulbs in there for the fog lights. I was going to swap over the stock ones, but they didn’t fit into the housing. On Redline360’s website they tell you what bulbs you will need to buy for the fog lights, but since I never really used them anyway I figured I would risk it by trying to fit the stock ones in and if they didn’t fit then oh well.

    • @SethWard1114
      @SethWard1114  Před 3 lety +1

      Sure, but the issue was not the tire in the way, it was the lining that was tough to work around. There was no easy way to get that off so I had to force my arm through a small opening between the lining and the bumper.

  • @adamjaniak6139
    @adamjaniak6139 Před 3 lety

    Hey I got a question, the original day time running lights/high beams (H4/9003 bulbs) that are on in the day time on the stock headlights, are they also on automatically on the the Spec D or is it just the white sequential led part that stays on during the day.

    • @SethWard1114
      @SethWard1114  Před 3 lety

      So my stock headlights did not actually have running lights. They had small bulbs that came on when I turned on the parking lights. Those bulbs do not get put into the Spec D lights. They are replaced by the LED strip. In any case though, I still have to flick the switch once to turn them on, meaning the tail lights come on too. They aren’t true running lights, and frankly they really aren’t bright enough to keep them on during the day. I just turn them on around sunset or when it gets dark enough that I don’t need my headlights on to see, but the strips help others see me
