Even if I get the 15k kit and install custom a engine and transmission myself for performance, it’ll still be cheaper than the 150k pre made kit.
Just need a huge garage, and a ton of time!

Building a vaydor from a G35 is a big job.I am sure there are a bunch of people who started it and never finished them.
Its supposed to be a 150hr+ build. That’s a big investment
@@Hchris101 idk at 3 hours daily, thats 50 days. including days off , you could potentially do it in 2-3 months with the right knowledge and resources. its probably hard tho lol

Well they can't if they sold the company which the rights to produce and sell go with. So not possible .

Whoa bear. You dont just slap this kit on a G35. You're leaving out the ~2 years worth of construction time if you get the kit yourself, plus all of the extra hidden costs of parts and accessories. Were talking ~20K-35K. The roll cage is not optional, because you cut the G35's frame off. Another youtuber did a video series on his build (with 3 other people). It aint that simple.
Correct. Paint (5-10K depending on area). Upgrading suspension to deal with that added width. Idk if they make a wheel spacer big enough for the difference. Tools for this job if you don't have them. To name just a few things they'll need

@@youngsauceso8666 Actually, he was thinking the factory G35 basic Vaydor kit, because the Vaydor adds weight to the G35 despite roof top is removed, add body panels and add spacers to the wheels to clean up the fit and finish on the fenders. Factory 300 horsepower, not quite worth the money and power. Could prep a Mustang GT performance pack 2 ( GT350 Handling with Brembo breaks, & Magneride Suspension from Ford Factory) for less add $7k to $8kWhipple SuperCharger Or a Roush Supercharger more reliable than the Turbos. End results, 725 horsepower in California 91 octane, anywhere else with 93 octane up to 800 hp. If you buy a 5.0 Mustang for between 2015 - 2020 it would be less than $54,000
keep in mind Focus RS use to sell for $54k and Civic Type R is like $7k more

We were working on a project in Tampa about the same time I heard about the Vador. I met with Matt and he gave me a tour of the place. The next time I was in Tampa again, I brought my son along. This time Matt had more vehicles to look at. My son was in heaven. The THIRD time we went, Matt had sold. We went over to the new place (not too far away) and was disappointed in the fact that it was going to be a turnkey. BUT.... After talking with Matt, you may wanna hold off. He mentioned to me that he was taking the time during his "no complete clause" to work on a new design - using a Z06 Corvette. The body kit would be easier to install (less labor), but the donor car would be more money. So in the long run, more performance, less work, more fun!! I hope things are progressing with Matt. I'd make a special trip from WI to Tampa just to check that out!
That sounds like Matt he always had some kind of chevy truck with ace caddy kits on them I haven't seen him in year's

Here in the Philippines, we have Aurelio Concept. Using Mitsubishi Evo and Honda Civic as a donor car. And now they are experimenting with several crate V8 engines and Ford 2.3 ecoboost.
I actually got to stop buy the original designers shop in Tampa, it was really cool to see how they were built and he breaks it down for you on how they do it and everything. Gave me ideas about my own shop but not to build a kit car lol

The problem is even if you got it for the low price, if you don't have the (tons) of skill needed to properly install, that's gonna cost you more than the kit itself, and with a paintjob that's actually worth putting on this car, you're looking at 35-40k

completely done with the best materials like paintjob wheels brakes engine interior it is truly a beauty..i got to visit the shop. i live close st pete on clearwater beach by but i used to be able to get there quick when i lived on the beach in his area..hes a really cool guy and when budget isnt an issue lemme tell you i seen a top notch example in person and it was amazing
Them taking the kit and making it a $150k car is heart breaking. I remember being 15 and me and my friend saw this and I said “when I have a job that can it for this, ima get it.” (Making this a cheap but beautiful dream car) I’m happy to hear you can still get it for less than 150k. But they still made it more difficult to get the WHOLE car looking nice for less than 20k
Dummy you don't have anywhere NEAR and never will the knowledge to build a vaydor G35 it's hard as shit and is expert level build.

I think it would cost more to paint along with the labor to make sure it has a perfect fit.
That's a hard decision lol. I would Love to have the Vaydor because it's big enough to install a gen 3 or the new 2023 Ford Coyote in it, With the 6 SPD manual Transmission giving the Vaydor supercar HP with the gen 3 rated at 460hp stock and the new possibly called the 4th gen Coyote is rumored to hit close to, If not that 500hp mark! Also a real nice throaty V8 sound! Now the Vex I'd like because it looks so awesome! It's compact and has lines that just stand out! Built on a great platform, And would already be pretty fast. If I had them in front of me and I had to pick one thou it would have to be the Vaydor. Hopefully the spider model instead of the coupe! lol.
Any talk about kit cars that doesn't include Factory 5 is a faulty list.
Yoy should present the Zedro Notorious, or even the Valarra Corvette (also made by Matt).

Local body shop actually has a blue vaydor in the main lobby. Looks pretty nice.
As long as you enjoy the look of your car getting in & out and walking away and to then anything is fine.
After putting that kit now all you need is a v12 engine

I love seeing well done kit cars. I’d never buy one, but then again, I’ve never even swapped out a stock radio. Though I appreciate when people do. I’ve never seen this Vador (in real life). And I never get tired of seeing G35’s - especially when de-badged and customized (rims/tint/wrap ...). But kit cars (despite what some say) are still cool. The owners are clearly more passionate about cars than anyone who buys a Toyota Corolla. Like “Evel Kenevel” ... its all about the attempt, Baby! Thanks for another Ideal video Brad.

I enjoy the thoughts of body kits, but would love to see more kits like Factory Five racing that can take a drive train out of...say a 2010-20 Ford Taurus SHO? Twin turbo and All wheel drive sounds like a lot of fun when done on a diet..lol. Even the sister drive train out of the Ford Pickups would be a great idea. 💡 What are your thoughts Brad?

Hey I love all your videos, especially affordable supercar kitcars like the Vaydor. I almost bought one until they sold it to another company...now I'm in the process of building my own, designing it like Matt did with the idea of affordability, but will be mounted on a Porsche Boxster, since they're affordable already with great handling and actually have engine upgrade options from turbo to swapping in a corvette LS engine. Hope to have our car featured on your channel when we are ready to launch it. - Henry

so if it’s $15,000 for the kit and like 5-10k for the g35 then it’s 20-25k. do you think an auto shop would slap this together for me? and if so how much do you think? Even if it’s for like 5-10k extra that’s still better than doing it myself.
Better check with your DMV there are reasons why these kit cars cannot pass the inspection for licensing.

The max I would pay is 25k and that's for the body kit upgraded interior and power plant plus instillation at least 15k for both kit and installation hell depending on how much the infinite you could have a dealership of em if you want

and that's just for parts, labor would add a lot more to that price, even if you did the job yourself, you would spend a lot in little stuff fixing thing, because no fiberglass body kits fit exactly how they should, and a good paint job is expensive too
