Thanks for creating an interior video to compliment your exterior review. The main reasons I just sold my 2021 Model S LR+ for the redesigned Model S, is for the state of charge (SOC) improvements and technology advancements which puts the Model S back in its proper halo car position at Tesla. The efficiency additions of a heat pump, updates to the batteries and the improved supercharging speeds (close to matching Model 3/Y charge time rates) will shorten supercharging wait times and hold a SOC longer no matter the weather conditions. The refreshed interior and exterior quality enhancements is really icing on the cake. Can’t wait for it to arrive in October. Thanks again!

You said close to matching 3/Y charge rates, no the model s charges 180~ miles in 15 minutes, the 3/Y are slower….
@@JoshTheFrosch07 You’re right! According to Teslarati and Motor Trend the new fast-charging figure is about 12-percent quicker than that of the Model 3. Conditions have to be right (wheel size, weather conditions, SOC status prior to charging) to achieve these results. Whatever the situation that is impressive and makes me even more excited to get my own in October. Thanks for fact-checking me on this important road tripping feature of the car.
Do the front seat belts now have vertical adjustment on B-pillar like most other cars do? And the other Tesla models. My 2015 MS doesn't and never been very comfortable for my wife.
Great video. So you mentioned that the rear passenger can watch Netflix or CZcams while car in motion so my question is how does the audio works if front driver and passenger are listening to music.
Are you able to fit a spare tire in the small back compartment or in the front one? And one more thing, the tires are all exactly the same on all 4 wheels ?

@@italianovero220 what I saw was red with black. My buddy got a blue with black. I personally loved the red more. It’s a bright but deep red. The blue has a sophisticated/class vibe about it

Does the dash behind the screen always stay on dark mode? I wonder if the display can be turned up brighter during the day.

Thank you for the video. We have the 2018 MS 100D and you have almost convinced me to trade it in on this new MS. The interior is so much better in this S but I have the free lifetime supercharging. I don't think I can get that on this new MS. I have sixty five thousand miles on my 2018 MS and the free supercharging is very nice. Maybe I should drive it until the wheels fall off.

I'm in the same boat -- love that free supercharging! I just did a bit of research; it seems that those who purchased in late 2017 (me) or later (you) canNOT transfer that free charging to a new owner. On the other hand, FSD does transfer if you sell to an individual. And I have that rare one: Satellite Radio antenna. That's hardware, so it goes! Anyway, I'm thinking selling directly to a new owner, rather than to Tesla... Just some thoughts in case you were thinking about it too. (Full connectivity package is in the car too -- and that should transfer.)

Not that I know of. My headlights work very well and provide the Visio need.
That’s what I would like to know too, 5th light went in my 11/2018! They should have used the Model X lights, they are flawless.
Thank you for all the videos! My wife is back seat rider. Is the rear climate control independent of the two front set climate controls? Or is it a mixture (average) of the two front seat temperature settings? Thanks in advance for your response.

So, when you put the rear seats down, is the surface pretty flat? I'm one of those who enjoys camping in the car -- my 2017 MS is plenty big for that, but doesn't go completely flat in the rear (I carry a few blankets & foam pad to construct a flatter surface). How about this new car?

Hey guys, I used to work for Tesla as a technician for 4 years, just left a few months ago. There are no 3.5 mm jacks for wired headphones. I’m most certain the audio will come through the speakers as one. The Bluetooth is mainly pairing phones

Yeah, I love the yoke. It also looks alot more premium than the cheap looking steering wheels in the Model 3 and Y.

There is a big storage compartment including a 12 volt plug below the storage compartment & cupholders.

In my opinion, it depends. Would I get the plaid , the answer is yes. I can only imagine experiencing that much power on a daily basis.

It's better than the previous generation, but it's not the interior quality of a 100k+ $ car. Not even close. A 40k Mazda 6 has the same or better interior quality.

A bit of style in the interior wouldnt go stray with the massive price of the thing. Even minor details like putting the tesla letters on the half a steering wheel in chrome or something. They focus too much on tech and not enough on making it appealing to the eye
The design , the luxury features, the refinment are really behind the germans but speed is awsome.

The news was only listed for 2 days before it was removed from the news site. Because it affects Tesla's sales. My husband wants to buy a Tesla, but I stop him from buying it. We argued for a few days. He said American Firefighters' comments were wrong. Now this car accident, my husband has nothing to say.

Dear Tesla, call it leatherette, call it vegan leather, but plastic is really the name. If I’m spending $100k in a car, I need the peace of mind knowing that some cows died to give the the comfortable interior I’m looking for.
