On these new Tesla's they actually have infrared cameras hidden inside above the rear view mirror to make sure your eyes are on the road when in autopilot and regular driving. That was a new feature they added to stop people using those clips to trick autopilot in the past.

      .
The rear door manual releases are tabs located below the seat on each side.

@@Driven-Productions My brother took delivery of his Plaid in September. I'm riving an older model S ( 2016) and just about upchucked when I say the difference in performance between his new Plaid and my older "S". I went out on a limb earlier this year investing in real estate earlier this year so am a little tight ( for awhile on cash flow) so a new Plaid will have to wait another year. But yes, I have driven that rocket bomb of his many times. It is truly mind-blowing. He had the same argument as you about the yoke until I suggested quick (less awkward) turns work with the fingers in the spoke of the wheel. We all cut our teeth on the round wheel and you will agree it does take some getting used to. I have never nor has he ever taken the car to a track, so that might be something really different. The car keeps going up in price like crazy so I will never get one for the price early owners may have gotten. That kind of pisses me off, as it seems Tesla is looking for how much the market can bear before Tesla starts leveling off in price. My old S only had 40K on it so it will have to due for a while. I enjoy all the response videos something the old S models never really got.

@@Driven-Productions You wouldn't find the info on publications like Consumer Reports or JD Power. You might see what they choose to publish, but the real data is in the warranty numbers and the forums.
There are too many issues to list ranging from the software to the powertrain. There are exterior as well as interior quality complaints. And 2 or 3 recalls, one major regarding the power train.
There is more to quality than misaligned panels or missing paint. Those can be fixed. The software, design and what lies under the hood also matter.
We can take our Teslas cross country with hardly a hitch. While, I wouldn't trust a Taycan on that same journey.
Tesla has room for improvement, sure, but now that I own one, it irks me when people talk about quality as if the competition is better, when they're not looking at the full picture. If we're talking about specific things (paint, panel alignment, material feel, type etc) then yeah. But that's scratching the surface.

Using your leg to steer or using your phone in autopilot is not safe.

You would be surprised how safe it can be. I've done 30k miles in Autopilot at this point, and have not had an issue. The car does a great job of keeping an eye on everything. In fact, maybe even better than me driving at times.

What is he talking about??, quality control. All companies have these issues. The difference is that these issues are resolved at the dealership before you get the car. Do you want theses dealership and pay $10,000 more. If you took the time to look over any car or product you will find problems.
