Mine LR is red and will have this ceramic tint. However laws only autorize max 70% passenger and drivers windows. I will put 40 or 50 for other windows (except front and roof).
Bro, Im waiting for my plaid to come in, the only thing keeping me going are your videos which I watch daily. I ordered the exact same color combo. Thanks for making these videos bro, congrats on the car. It’s beautiful
Wow the car looks so clean! Have you considered wrapping your car with XPEL Ultimate Plus or XPEL Stealth PPF in order to ensure the car looks pristine down the road?
Just watched your video and found it very informative. Have the 2022 S LR on order and considering Ceramic Tint. I do live in the Plano DFW area. Could you shoot me the name and location of where you had your tint done?
I love it! Will be tinting mine the same all around. My car is expected to be delivered in December. Will be white on white . Had 20% tint on my previous white on white Model 3 all around and I loved it. How much is the tint job in TX? I’m in California so I feel like the prices are always jacked up for Tesla vehicles.
Now that you have been driving with the yoke for quite some time now would you consider replacing the yoke for the round wheel? Now that Tesla offers the round steering wheel option for the 2023 Model S & X and retrofit for 2021 & 2022 Model S I'm curious to know how much of the display to the right might be covered up by the top portion of the steering wheel when installed? I definitely like the unobstructed view of the DIC in front of the driver and the whole top half of the center screen while using the yoke but at what cost to safety? I believe the round wheel might be the safer choice and one that we all know how to use, but I'm finding it difficult to decide between the safety in which the round wheel provides and the openness while using the yoke. Decisions, decisions...
Wow! I see I'm not the only one! I couldn't have worded it any better! This is exactly what I have been tortured with and having the same exhausting question over which steering wheel...decisions, decisions!! Would have been great to get an answer from him.
@@nelsonhollins I test drove 2 MS 's on 2 separate occasions with the Yoke, although the drive provided excellent visibility out the windshield I would purposely drive quickly in tight circles, turning quickly left to right to simulate dangerous maneuvers, several times I easily fumbled with missing the top half of the yoke\wheel, and I've been driving for over 45 years. I thought how often would this really occur in real life?, then I thought; all it takes is one time and it might cost me my life or the life of someone else if I didn't get it right. I ended up purchasing a 23 MSP Plaid with the round steering wheel. I believe I made the right choice, I'm very content. 😀
@@stephen2220 Okay, great! I really appreciate it! I've been so torn over this now that I'm in the market for one. For some reason I was thinking they didn't allow test drives. So looks like the best thing for me to do is a test drive to get a personal perspective. Thank you for responding!!
@@stephen2220 Awesome! Thanks for the update! I'm leaning towards the round wheel. However, I really like the openness of the yoke. Whew!! I didn't know about the center push horn version. Thanks for mentioning that. We'll see!!
Be careful with those 21" wheels. DAErik hit a fist sized rock and estimates $3,500 to fix. Two wheels bent, and one tire ruined for sure and probably a second.
Deji, you're amazing! Hope you're doing well! I love this video and the look of your Tesla S. Thank you for providing the name of who did your tint in the comments since I'm in the DFW area. The only dilemma I have was also a question from @stephen2220. I would sure appreciate your answer to his question which happens to be mine as well...if you're able to!!
Hey Nelson, I have bought the vehicle twice and both times, I have bought the car with the yoke. I also have friends who bought the car with the yoke and then replaced it with a wheel. I think it all comes down to perspective and preference. I have also driven the car with the wheel and based on my own personal preference, I kept my yoke. Here are a few pointers: 1. The wheel to me was too large and from my perspective, it didn't seem to fit the overall appeal of the car. 2. The wheel does block the front display but I didn't think it mattered to the center screen especially since you can tilt it. 3. I have been driving the car since 2021 and never had any slip ups or accidents as a result of the yoke. I do have a friend who had a wreck in his model S and he feels like he could have saved the car from accident had he had a wheel. So on his next S, he got the wheel and loves it. 4. I am a spirited driver and I actually enjoy the feel of control with the yoke. 5. In the end, the model S isTesla's flagship vehicle and I personally want to experience the car as designed and intended. I do understand that a wheel feels familiar and safe. However, 99.9% of accidents happen in cars with wheels. Even with the yoke, the model S is still one of the safest cars on the planet. I think it still comes down to the driver and their own temperament with the car. The same conversation about Yoke/wheel happens with the tires too. Hope this helps. Again all from my point of view.
@@PerceptionandEmpathy Wow, Deji! What an awesome response!! Thank you for your thorough explanation and perspective. You've summed it up beautifully! Well said. And that's a lot of food for thought. It appears to me that I need to experience both wheels to help with my decision and gain a personal perspective. You've helped me more than you realize. I greatly appreciate you!!
best looking sedan on the planet
Freaking love the black and white contrast
Love your vids. I ordered the exact same model S LR. Expecting delivery this week up in Toronto Canada. Keep it up! Looks amazing!
Beautiful car, looking forward to getting my LR MS this month and will get ceramic tinting like yours. Thanks for sharing.

Deji, I live in the desert, so I’m planning to ceramic the glass roof in my MS LR for heat deflection. Why didn’t your installer recommend that?

Great looking car. I will be ordering a blue one in October. Any way to do a video on how text messaging works , I’m coming from CarPlay.
Ceramic tint, nice! I ordered your least favourite black colour last week. Black interior and 21” wheel. It will look totally black out if tinted. 😂
waiting for my Plaid S! i like your color scheme though im hoping for gray exterior/white interior
I live in the Plano area, where did you get the work done & how much would I be looking so spend for this exact work? I have a 2021 Model 3
