I just took delivery and in the way home I finally understood the design intention of that virtual shifter. You're supposed to rest your right hand resting on the top left corner of the screen and you can go forward and backward by swiping your thumb up and down. What's more, when you turn to exit the car your thumb will naturally rest at where the P button. It's an elegant design, and frankly I am surprised that I haven't seen anyone on youtube operating it that way.

Excellent video brother. I'm glad someone has finally demonstrated exactly how this works. This has made me realise the swipe implementation and it's position on the screen, mimics the stalk up/down action that is in the current model Y. I would love to see how the automatic drive direction works when doing a 3 point turn.

Just wanna make sure if it’s REALLY okay for me to get an Airbnb! Here’s why: There’s a wedding from my cousin and I missed the deadlines to EVERY expense.. so now I’m heated trying to find something and raise the money for the flight and the Airbnb! The thing is, I’m only 18 years old and I just turned 18 March 7th so SUPER recently, and the wedding is this April!! My family is staying where you guys are located, at the Dreams Jade spa resort in Puerto Morales so I’m trying to find Airbnb’s around that area and they’re cheap!! I just wanna know if it’s safe. Everybody keeps telling me it isn’t, and I don’t wanna get trafficked, Murdered, robbed! And I usually don’t get scared from that stuff but Mexico is known for EVERY crime ever.

Now that you have been driving with the yoke for quite some time now would you consider replacing the yoke for the round wheel? Now that Tesla offers the round steering wheel option for the 2023 Model S & X and retrofit for 2021 & 2022 Model S I'm curious to know how much of the display to the right might be covered up by the top portion of the steering wheel when installed? I definitely like the unobstructed view of the DIC in front of the driver and the whole top half of the center screen while using the yoke but at what cost to safety? I believe the round wheel might be the safer choice and one that we all know how to use, but I'm finding it difficult to decide between the safety in which the round wheel provides and the openness while using the yoke. Decisions, decisions...

Thanks for the walkthrough video. I was juggling between the white and the midnight silver metallic when I was placing my order. I decided on the white after seeing your vid! White is just super sexy on this car! I really like the arachnid upgrade, but opted for the standard 19's and purchased a set of 21" modular BCForged instead...currently sitting in my garage waiting for install. I must admit, I was overwhelmed with sticker shock when it came to purchasing the tires. There are very few options when it comes to those sizes. How are your tires wearing for you since ownership? I was told maybe 10k miles on the the pilot sports and it's time to drop 2k for replacements...yikes!

Autopilot needs to be more smart like it needs to follow the speed limits plus don’t drive the wrong direction plus detect the person or thing infront of you at a long distance so it avoids a crash. And needs to beep when your at low charge maybe go to a charge station then it beeps loud so you can put it in the tesla it beeps at each stop goes to the superchargers on each that you need and your at your destination that’s how much auto pilot needs a lot cause it’s very dumb right now. So you can get better sleep even though the charging stuff is going to be super loud Also annoying. Smarter computer. Also btw I’m not saying it should. Stop at a long distance if it detected some one in saying it needs to detect a car crash.

I have booked 8 days(sat to sun) all inclusive resort + 2 trips + 3 dinners outside the resort for about $2850 /2 persons in late September. we went there 3 years in a row before covid , hotel zone 1st and the playcar twice . this next trip ill be checking some condos for investment purposes 🧐🏖🏢

To be honest, when Tesla went public in the United States many years ago, there were very few cases of car lithium battery fires, but at that time American firefighters have commented that lithium battery fires are terrible and difficult to put out. The news was only listed for 2 days before it was removed from the news site. Because it affects Tesla's sales. My husband wants to buy a Tesla, but I stop him from buying it. We argued for a few days. He said American Firefighters' comments were wrong. Now this car accident, my husband has nothing to say.

Are you confusing autopilot with full self-driving? All Tesla's have autopilot not all have FSD. And you are supposed to keep your hand on the wheel all the time
