I totally identify with your feelings and efforts to cling on to something as pure as nature.... and still have hope for the world. I am aghast at what has happened to this beautiful planet we share. Your garden is a haven of peace and gentleness. I find solace stepping outside too and breathe in the balm to my soul. When I wake up in the morning here in N.J.in the U.S. at around 4:30-5:00 am, I love to hear the birds singing their love songs. They make my soul sing and I feel maybe we do have a chance…. I love to see my bee hives in my trees waking up and going on their journeys to find pollen. Yes Colette, I have to believe that we will survive…blessings to you my dear… 🌻

Love your blue ceramic bird bath, with the stick in so creatures can climb out easily. I enjoy being a recluse now, and just keeping safe at home with my Madge dog. I only watch our local news on tv. I can not watch anything with violence showing on the tv. I treasure walking in the wild places, as you do. I saw a beautiful deer this morning on my walk with Madge, how lucky I feel to be able to see such things. Having to go back to the dentist tomorrow, as they think it could be dry socket, and I may have to have antibiotics (which I am allergic to) injected into my gum! xxx

For many reasons, it has been a while since I visited you at Bealtaine Cottage. The changes you have made and the changes the goddess has brought with the spring make it even more beautiful.
I agree with you about the EU and feel it was a pity the UK ever got drawn in, b it by bit, from the original Common Market to a vast, unmanageable, bullying political machine. It will take a long time for us to recover, if it ever happens. But I work on our woodland and garden and hope for the best to these few acres in the future. While a few of us do what the Earth needs, there is hope that others will follow and there will be enough of us to bring about greater change.
Yes, the world seems to have gone mad. Or maybe it never was any better. Humanity is a major disappointment! Love is a memory...yet in my heart, always a stirring of hope. 👍😎🇨🇦🌱

I find (some) relieve working in my garden, looking at the beauty of nature...and watching your video´s....

Lovely tour of your "Three Acres and a Cottage" with Patsy in tow. What you stated about your platform is the reason why I choose not to have one. When I post anything it is to continue the dialogue of the content creator and/or a viewer, not to cause anything which is bad. As you know there are those who do not like certain discussions and people's response. Sad world 😔 we live in. I have recently stop posting comments on all of my subscribers platforms because I do not want my post(s) to be deleted or worse, reported because someone did not like what I posted 😕! I enjoy having discourse with everyone about everything...this is how we as humans grow. This is not about debates. This is about discussions. People should understand the differences.
Stay true to yourself Colette. What you have accomplished 'mostly on your own' is why I live in the country and the biggest reason why those in charge do not want those of us who live this way to let others catch on and start living this way!

Hello Colette just scrolling through your videos came across this one not watched, it was posted whilst I was away on the Isle of White. I agree with your sentiments. I find the story of Eve tempting Adam with an apple is away of stopping people eating apples " The forbidden Fruit " it's all about keeping in control. Yes it has changed a lot , yet scams and junk mail still get through.. Dear Colette I cannot believe how the time has flown. I have been with you from the beginning of your channel and you have given so very much to so many. You inspire me, enrich my days, I have learnt so much from you over the years as I have worked on my own 3 acres in north east England having came to it as a complete novice at a similar stage in my life. I too count my blessings that at 66 years I still have the health to keep on.
Mine is no garden of Eden as I have also rescued many animals over the years and they occupy a good part of the land. But I do garden in the same woodland, regenerative style I have learnt largely from yourself.

Astrologically, "as above; so below, as within; so without" has taught me that we are the garden. What happened? We were responding to a vast amount of trauma based mind control. We were lost like a species with amnesia. Grateful for you and many others who share their wisdom and light the path for others who are becoming aware of the divine nature of being in the flow with nature, accepting what is offered with gratitude, grace and a commitment to teach because thats what we do. "The futility of stupidity" - I had to chuckle out loud...watching and listening to this beautiful video; by my open window. Drinking my coffee - listening to your birdsong; and mine. I had just been thinking the same thing. Somehow - the powers that be; have convinced large groups of people, that women are to be blamed...for pretty much everything...that went wrong. And yes; please bow down to your priest/minister/husband. Just shaking my head. What a point of rebellion for a woman to be independent and outspoken. Oh lovely soul. How I would love to sit and chat over a cuppa tea with you. This video is simply lovely. I am at the beginning of turning my backyard into a woodland food forest/cottage garden. Focusing on this is what is keeping me sane during these challenging times which I view as the demolition of an old kitchen before putting in the new one (noisy, messy and rather scary). The work that you are doing, and so many others have also begun is a signpost of the wonderful direction we're headed - and everything that is old is thrashing about and making as much noise as possible like a dying beast. Focus on Eden. We WILL arrive. BLESSINGS from Canada.
I don't want to go out either... sometimes I worry is something wrong with me, today I did click and collect shopping because I honestly couldn't bear going in... then I scurried home, now I am sitting in my old book caravan in my little woodland in Shropshire wondering why I am exhausted! Admittedly I was sitting infront of my little garden log burner at 5am but even so I only went to Sainsbury's and back and didn't even go in... then I berate myself for being knackered.. something in the energy or is it me.. honestly I don't know x
When I leave my happy surroundings, I feel the sense of the world "out there" not "behaving naturally"....it is very scary and exhausting.

I use to live in a home where I had almost no space to grow anything. I filled every nook and cranny I could find.
I’ve moved and now have a bit more room in my backyard and every time I walk out and look around and decide what to create, I ask myself “what would Collette do? “
I’m building my foundation trees and plants and keeping with native and dog friendly species as much as possible.
Grateful for you introducing to me the idea of “cottage” and “woodland” gardens.

Good morning. I absolutely love your bird bath. My clematis and Columbine are all in exquisitely loaded blooms. We lost our "gardens." I believe due to not simply stopping to breathe in and look and / or create beauty. Society seems to have become quite selfish and NOW paced. It takes time and patience to garden. It appears most people no longer have/allow time for either. Have a lovely week.
