    Funny thing is, he missed a king out because there were 2 of the same name. So King Herod died several years before Jesus was thought to have been born. In theory - what it really means it it's not the year we think it is, it's later by that few extra years that got missed out. If I remember correctly from when I read about this, which was over 30 years ago now, the difference was about 6 years.
    Knowing about this made all the doomsday hype about the year 2000 quite funny, because what the doomsday theorists didn't know was that the year 2000 had actually already happened.

    Yeah I have always questioned it, but just thought it was a Praise to Jesus. But I will admit it’s still funny to me how many people think that A.D. means after death.
