- Review on the Karl XIV Johan. First Tier 9 Premium Pan-European Battleship, is a torp 10.6km concealment machine that is super tanky, has great antiair, but has a low average HP pool, so don't play overly aggressive. Overall I would recommend the Karl is a nice crewtrainer for the Pan-European line and potential future lines of the nation. I would suggest waiting to get it for when it goes into armory using the coupon to cut off the cost to cheaper!

Just a little funny historical fact on that... Swedish kings added a few numbers to seem like they had a longer linage. Karl XIV Johan, born Jean-Baptiste Jules Bernadotte, was actually from a new linage. I imported a general from Napoleons army. In fact he was Marshal of France before his reign and the Swedes wanted him since they felt they needed a real warrior king. He continues the tradition of having massively inflated Karls which I am sure all the Swedes at the time wanted to. ;)
(Funny enough, he would be the one that got Sweden started on staying out of wars. Not before managing to get Norway as a reward for Swedens aid against Napoleon. Yep. That is right. He did start a fight against his old boss and friend, and did end up on top.)
I really enjoyed your torpedo play. You just spammed torps like crazy, and got way more torp hits on your own team vs hits on the enemy team.

PQ ran this as full secondary, because your concealment and secondaries are virtually the same, with torps being several K longer in range. It looks pretty fun, but that might only be true if you're top tier.
great video. just a question. The mod you have next to your chat, like on the right side of it ,that shows the health of you secondary's and AA , what does it called? can we get it in Aslain?
It is from the Wows Modstation (just google that), called "Secondary Armament" in the 5th tab of mods. If you are asking if it works with Wows Asian server, yes it does.
This thing looks like a ton of fun! From what I've heard, I'd say follow a German BB (like Pommern) and let him take the spotlight. You'd almost certainly need to be in a division, but if you could pair those with something like the Minnesota... Chief's kiss.
I really want to try this ship, kinda feel it lost some secondary power and had that replaced with torps (compared to German BB), would have liked to hear more about the secondaries in terms of how many are there / firing rate / pen
Paper dpm is slightly more than P. Rupprecht but the dispersion,range and pen is worse. Without IFHE you pen 25mm on the 14x1x150mm guns and 20mm on the 6x2x120s. With IFHE you pen 31 and 25mm. So unless you are only fighting DDs and light cruisers the secondaries are only good for setting fires and are not worth investing into.
I’m a little late to comment but the K-XIV-J was just announced that it would be available for trade in 13.4. Just wondering how it stacks up against the tier 9 German Prinz-R?
longer range torps more guns better antiair good hydro secondaries dont have same pen as german but is still great ship!

@@15enric15 it depends on circumstances if johan is pushing pommern pommern would win if johan is kiting pommern and pommern are told Johan wokld win I was in gk ealrh againt the Karl and it didn’t do much to me so just depends I guess

@@PLAYRIDER13 I dont really think that full secondary build is the best. Secondaries are mostly for starting some fires cos pen is really bad. Also you will hurt your main guns dispersion and overall they are still your main source of demage. So I would run hybrid build for this ship or just tank build.
the secondaries do not have enough pen or accuracy to be fully built into secondaries like schleiffen, but you can build into secondaries if you want to meme and have fun in randoms! nothing wrong with doing different builds and trying things on your own i merely suggest builds
