If you want to avoid expensive shipping due to us living in Australia, here is a little work around on Amazon (can do the same on ebay using www.ebay.com.au) which some people have used and made it a lot more affordable. We just wanted to share this with those who this may concern.
1. Go to top right of Amazon homepage where it has your country flag and language showing
2. Click change country/region on dropdown menu
3. Change country to Australia
4. Amazon page will change all products to those in Australian warehouses. Put items in cart, send to S&P PO box address as you normally would. Should be minimal shipping because its shipping from within Australia

Love all of them, and always rewatch them in order! We don't have that many pirates movie let alone good pirates movie!
Yes is the soldiers original movie
HEY!!!YOU NEED WATCH PSYCHO(1960YEAR) AND MISERY(1990) BEST HORRORS!
Salazar sounds too much like Stilgar 😂
This was great, anyone who said not to watch it is dumb 😂
When Barbossa called Carina treasure, it reminded Jack's lone to Will in the first movie:
"Not all treasure is silver and gold, mate." 💜
in his old age, Barbossa finally figured that out
I was going to this exact thing. It definitely brings it full circle. 😊
Will and Elizabeth's reunion hit even harder for me cause I saw these movies in theaters, and there is exactly 10 years between the release of the 3rd movie and 5th movie, so I had to wait 10 years to see them reunited, just like the characters were cursed to wait 10 years to see each other again.
and she was waiting randomly on the hill waiting for him when it was still a year till 10 year anniversary lmao
@@vert2552 She lives on that hill
Exactly. It boggles my mind that these reactors have not seen these movies. They are older then me. Have these people been living under a rock?
Thats why davy also came back, all curse are lifted.barbossa wont come back though, coz he is already human when he died.
I love how Barbossa's sacrifice here is a complete mirror to Blackbeard in the previous movie, Barbossa readily sacrifices himself for his daughter despite having known her for barely any time at all, while Blackbeard is fully prepared to sacrifice his daughter for his own sake without hesitation.
I love how Jack adresses Barbossa as Hector. The respect between those two. The ending made this whole movie.
jack yelling out 'hector!' when barbossa fell
sad moment
Barbossa died how he lived...like a total badass! 💜
And he ended up with his treasure as the witch promised
0:05 - It is called Salazar’s Revenge in The UK. “Dead man tell no tales” apparently sounded too threatening to the movie board for the rating.
same in Germany (translated of course)
The man standing behind young Jack when he's receiving tribute is his dad, Captain Teague.
Had the pleasure of working on this film on the Goldy, making the props! Good times.
oh that's awesome!
You legend! What a memory youll have forever
22:14 her saying "your treasure will come back to you"
That conversation is an amazing foreshadowing moment and gets a whole new meaning after the end of the movie, when he calls hid daughter his treasure
As Jack said to Will about Elizabeth in the first movie: not all treasure is silver and gold
Still makes me cry at the ending, it’s all too much!
No other word can describe how a father should feel about his daughter
The cast and crew loved having Paul McCartney on set as Jack's uncle for a day, he was telling jokes, stories and singing.
What this franchise reaction showed me is that we need more franchise reactions on the channel! Such a fun journey! 💜
My theory on how they were going to bring Davy Jones back is that when Davy Jones "died", he fell into the sea hole (Whirlwind) created by Calypso. Octopuses, however, have 2 hearts. Therefore, the stabbed heart was his human heart. He still had his octopus heart left. But when he fell from the ship, he was trapped in a curse created by Calypso. Now that the curses were destroyed, so was the curse he was trapped in (But with his octopus heart, that's why he still has that shape). I suppose Davy Jones would seek revenge against Will since he has his ship and his crew. A last film would have been excellent to close the saga. Excellent reaction. Thank you for letting us share this journey! AYE!!!
YES! Thank you!
Well I never thought of that. Makes a lot of sense but it’s also modern day Disney, so I doubt they would’ve come up with a good script even if they didn’t needlessly fire Johnny Depp
True, coz all curse are lifted now, barbossa wont comeback, when he died he was already human.he had his cortez curse already lifted, was only healed by callipso.
Octopuses actually have three hearts, so...
I think they will try to bring back barbosa like they brought jack back after the 2nd one
Well done for continuing the series! I enjoyed them all in there own ways and this one brought it all together ❤️ great reaction as always both.
I actually love this movie! I loved the ending! Loved the Barbossa reveal. and I loved freeing Will.
The whole I've got a jar of dirt scene was improvised
I wonder if the curse on the aztec gold is lifted as well 🎉🎉
On another note, Barbossa was already resurrected by Calypso - in At World's End, Calypso/Tiadalma showed us how Barbossa looked like without her power. That resurrection was technically a curse, so it probably broke with all the other curses of the sea. So Barbossa is permanently dead, in my opinion, you can't resurrect an already resurrected person.
well, its not like this movie made sense anyway lol
Well, I think breaking the triton broke every curse on the sea, and I don't know if the Aztec curse necessarily counts as a curse on the sea. I'd say it was more of a land curse.
And a resurrection through magic doesn't make it a curse. A curse isn't automatically anything done through magic.
But yes, Barbosa is permanently gone. The guy that played him is probably too old to return, even if they wanted to bring the character back.
No it wasn't the fall that was improvised, it was the whole "I've got a jar of dirt" part that was improvised.
The reason why some people don't like this movie is because Jack is just kind of a baffoon throughout. The charm in the previous movies is the idea that no one really knows whether Jack plans everything out or is just incredibly lucky and stumbles through everything (typically a little of both). Here he's just treated a bit like a clown and he doesn't have many stoic moments. Granted they did introduce Jack at a low point being drunk all the time and not having a ship or crew so that could have been the explanation, but that could've also been addressed more by giving him a character arc.
It's not that Jack is just incredibly lucky, he's actually rather intelligent. Behind the drunken/insane facade, he's quite clever and witty. I'm not a fan of the fourth movie, but the beginning with his meeting with the King is a really good demonstration of this.
Making him stupid for stupid's sake is ridiculous. It's a betrayal of his character.
Kaya Scodelario is an amazing actress… you should check out The gentleman movie & series next
Another fun fact: Penelope cruz was in the last as angelica and her husband is in this one as Salazar.
14:34 Yes! My favorite scene in the whole series!
“Have either of the four of you seen my bank?”
*bank slams through back wall*
“Found it!”
This movie destroyed Jack, he is always drunk and achieves things only by luck. In the past movies he always used his mind to defeat his enemys. And who needed will and Elizabeth to come back, their story had a perfect ending.
4 and 5 weren't bad but they just lacked the charm of the first 3 I feel.
I don't remember when you guys suggested that you would react to Vikings or the last kingdom
hope you still plan on reacting to these two shows
I'd take Black Sails over these two. But The Last Kingdom would be nice as well.
still on the cards! TLK probably earlier as spartan has seen Vikings that will likely come much later
@@Triskaanthe last Kingdom is one of the best shows ever to come out
@@hm4654 Oh it's up there in my top 10 for sure. It's just that Black Sails is top 1. ^^
@@SpartanandPudgeyblack sails is INCREDIBLY good, and also slightly shorter if you were to take a look. In the world of pirates it’s something that’s a great show
The main problems of this movie:
1) Curse. We must remember the job that Davy Jones took wasn’t a curse. It was an obligation, a duty, a job but he corrupted his purpose and you could consider him “cursed”. So the reason why Will is become what he is completely unexplained.
2) Jack is being more stupid and flat as a character. That can be understandable if you consider that story now shifted main focus to Henry.
3)The story is a loop but shorter. The whole break my father's curse and be with love of my love is already happened with Will and Elizabeth and it took 3 movies for them and now Henry does all of this in one movie. It may be poetic from certain point of view and in context of Jack's phrase that "it's not the world getting smaller, there's just less in it."
As for the good things in the movie (personal take)
1) Design of Salazar and his crew is really good, the animation of hair as if it's underwater or undead birds and sharks are cool.
2) Hector is always welcomed, he's in every movie and always consistent yet changing through movies. He's always a pirate that values freedom and treasure, he's smart and charismatic. But each movie his treasure is different from literally retaining senses and feelings to saving his life to saving his family.
I wouldn't call the first one a problem. Maybe Will did do something that made him more cursed. Just because it's unexplained doesn't mean it's a plot hole. It's a weird and unnecessary detail, but not really a problem
@@becauseimbatman1391 it's not entirely that he is cursed but rather why? Movie didn't elaborate that and a lot of people, me included don't like that one of main goals is without some background. When Will was saving his dad we got exposition and background even before it became his goal, Bill talked about it with Jack and so it didn't raise any questions as if why Will's father was with Davy Jones. But here they just gave us the fact that Will is cursed. Although I do agree that it maybe not a plot hole but only if they somehow tell us about what really happened.
@@zombezyb6692 52:16 remember the ending was leading into devy jones still being alive which was one of the directios they were gonna go for 6
@@gideonkok2071 yes but it's raising even more questions. If all curses are gone then why Davy Jones was portrayed like this + How he returned? Because "The Dutchman always has captain" is part of a curse.
Also lets not forget Jack got the compass from Tia Dalma and gave it away several times in earlier movies.
i think the main problems in this film are the plot holes. Just to say some: in the other movies jack gives away the compass a lot of times and nothing happened, the compass itself is given to jack from calypso, there's no reason for will to be cursed since he didnt currupted his purpose. other problems are, in my opinion, that Jack himself is more stupid than "weird" in this film, and that the couple henry-carina does not work well like will-elizabeth. Still a great finale in my opinion. last Jack's line (i have a randevouz beyond my beloved horizon) is a reference to the last line in the first film that i loved.
(sorry if i made some mistakes, english is not my first language)
Yes, plot holes are a big problem but I'm so tired of them overdoing the supernatural stuff. The supernatural stuff was NOT what made the POTC movies special. A little bit was fine, from skeletons to cool looking fish crew & Davy Jones. But this is just getting out of hand. I'm tired of every single antagonist being unkillable for most of the movie. Super lazy. This is one of the reasons I actually liked 4 a bit more was at least Blackbeard was killable. (Still had some "zombiefide" crew, but its as good as it ever got)
This is just one of many problems I have with this film.
Being the captain of the flying dutchman is the curse. The longer the captain and crew do their duty the more they become riddled with barnacles etc. The only reason the barnacles came off in the third movie is because the curse began again from zero when Will took on the role.
Davy Jones was cursed as an Octopus like creature for betraying his purpose.
People are confusing these two curses.
Will wanted to free his father from the "curse" and when Will took on the Davy Jones' role he gave his father the option to be free but decided to stay with Will.
The curse remained.
Breaking the curse of the Flying Dutchman's captain. Oh so Will is now a normal human being, without a heart. Good times :'D
At 29:39 you see young Barbossa at the back aswell.
29:40
The Horologist joke never fails to male me laugh. Same with the guillotine scene. 💜
22:58 "they can't do that" 😂
oohhh nice lil wednesday morning watch for me! Congrats again on the sub award my lovelies 🩷
🫶🏽🙏❤️
Captain Barbossa will always be my favorite Captain. Rip legend
Now imagine waiting 10 years real time to finally see them reunite at the end. The emotions you received pale in comparison to those who were there 10,000 yea- i mean 10 years ago.
What I don’t like about the movie is the things they ret-conned. Most for no point. The worst is what they did to Will. No way Will would abandon his purpose in the Dutchman. That was done due to lazy writing just to add tension and to the storyline.
Also, are we supposed to forget Calypso clearly saying she gave Jack the compass?
The thing is...Davy Jones' heart was stabbed human or no, so him returning makes absolutely no sense...I know they could literally do anything, but this stuff is retconned so much.
He has two heart,he fell in the ocean so they stabbed his human heart, not his octopus one,so he might be alive.
@@jabychador5923 It was never established that he had two hearts. He carved out his only heart and put it in the chest. He didn't materialize a new heart once he was cursed. If he had two hearts, that makes Pirates 2 and 3 lose all stakes. Just sayin'.
Thank you for your reaction. Always enjoyable.
😘
Btw...I think, that somehow Barbossa is in "Davy Jones Locket"...
😜
I just realized watching it with you that the witch who gave barbossa the compass asked him "is it the treasure worth dying for?" And barbossa died for his treasure Carina🥺🥺🥲🥲
I loved rewatching these movies again through your eyes. It's almost as if I'm watching for the first time. Thank you
I'm so glad you both enjoyed Pirates 5. The movie overall has never quite hit right with me, but that ending scene with Will and Elizabeth is so satisfying and chokes me up every time.
This is definitely top 5 film franchises for me. Just for my sheer enjoyment of it. 💜
loving the channel guys ❤ hello from scotland
You were mentioning cameos in the movies and I am not sure if you have heard this or not but the man who played Jack Sparrow’s father in one of the movies was Keith Richards, who is one of the founding members and guitarist for The Rolling Stones.
They have a good setup for the 6th. Will turner is next up to be cursed like davy jones, Barbosa has the sword and queen annes revenge, and Jack has the pearl.
I love that post credit ending cuz the way I interpreted it is that there may have been consequences to breaking those curses by destroying the trident, what many people don’t know is that not every curse is evil some are good and beneficial many of them exist for a reason and if just more then one curse under the tridents charge were broken it could have done more harm then good.
I don't know if you were aware of it but, Javier Bardem (Captain Salazar), also plays one of the main characters (Stilgar) in the new "Dune" movies.
Love this movie! Thank you for reacting to it!
9:12 i never made the connection that that was nightwing from titans 😂
I fully understand when actors don’t watch their shows or movies. I’d get sick of it the sense that they film this stuff for months. I’d be over it and not want to watch it. I know some actors talk on it. Some like seeing the special effects and some just cringe at seeing themselves. 4 is definitely that side story that doesn’t need to be seen, but still good.
Fan service done right. Barbossa's sacrifice always gets me. Have y'all seen the How to Train Your Dragon trilogy? Has some moments that definitely hit.
Spartan & Pudgey Awesome Video Reaction Today!!🔥🐐🐐💎
Good timing ✌️
Great reaction, i could totally see Will hearing about the adventure and who was involved and realizing he should have been there to help (possbily save Barbossa, his son's future father in law) since it's all partially his mess. Headcanon character development moment we'll never get to see on screen.
Having re-watched these with you two has been a fun journey. I am a Sea of Thieves Player, so I guess I could head cannon that the return of Davy Jones and the continuation of Jack's adventures is the Pirates of the Caribbean quest in Sea of Thieves. It was a fun questline!
You two are an absolute delight xxx
The movie is kind of flat to me but the ending is awesome. Basically cried with happiness when we got to see first Will and then Elizabeth at the end 🥺🥺
this was the best part they should be more in this movie
The ending scene was clearly added by producers. The Trident ends all curses so there's no logic to get that character back in that scene. Maybe they planned to make like a spin-off of this character's youth.
I can’t hear Salazar’s voice now without looking around for the Lisan al Gaib and Chani.
Salazar is Stillgard ?
@@iamtlessd yup.
They could make 6 anime style. Never underestimate how powerful an anime could be
Man you guys didn’t recognize that British captain from the first big set of movies you both watched. It was Feramer
Faramir*
Yep, a full circle experience.
well all curses are destroyed so davy jones is alive again cant wait for 6 film
The smug look from young Jack is such a great scene.
27:52 no one ever notices this part .... in the 2nd one wen he goes to see " calypso " she says " the compass u got from me " so the writers kinda messed up in the story but no one notices it ...
Not to mention I’m pretty sure he gave away the compass before in the previous movies, at least temporarily gave it away
@@Starlight-fu7kvI think there reason Salazar never goes after Jack before this is because I think he was scared of Black beard and Dave Jones so once there gone he comes out of hiding
I mean I love it ... but no reactor that iv seen has ever caught that part
@@TheShadow8771Why would he be afraid of Black Beard when he is not afraid of Barbossa who has Black Beards sword and thus his powers
I did right away. It’s one of many ret-cons.
You guys should watch The Lone Ranger (2013), featuring Johnny Depp as Tonto and from the director of the first 3 Pirates movies. It’s a good time with great over the top action like Pirates, but western.
This is my personal favorite movie series reactions y'all gave done so far right next to Harry Potter. I'll definitely be rewatching. 💜
You guys should watch Danny Phantom. You might get a kick out of it. Three seasons
I don’t know if anyone has told you both this but I remember watching your reaction to the first one you recognized Will as Legolas from the Lord of the Rings well the British guy that was set on killing Henry and Karina is Farimir Boromir’s brother from the Lord of the Rings and the member of Jack’s crew that talks about Barbossa’s cannonballs and is holding Scrums foot before they try to take his toenail is the actor who played the Dwarf Ori in the Hobbit. And the mayor guy whose wife was in the safe with Jack is the actor who plays the mouth of Sauron.
46:38 * a rare teary-eyed Spartan has appeared *
People tend to forget that if first time watchers take the advise to just watch the first 3 then skip to the fifth, they are going to be so confused as to why Barbossa has such a powerful presence on the sea and why the Black Pearl is in a bottle in the last movie.
Watched in the cinema in 3D if I remember correctly … the undead sharks looked amazing
After the first movie, who would've thought you would cry for Barbossa
4:51 - This was not supposed to be the final film. It’s awful that we will never see another film with Jack in it. Johnny won’t work with Disney again, ever. Ever ever.
Except he might change his mind if the script is good enough according to the last time he was asked about it
Never say never. Sean Connery said he would never come back as Bond after the awful experience he had working on the 5th film, but he did. Twice.
@@Rocket1377technically 3 times if you count him voicing bond in the 2005 videogame
To be fair he said if the script was right he'd consider a good ending to Jack Sparrow

38:52 The moment the psychologist in Pudgey figured the mystery.
"I have a rendezvous beyond my.. Beloved horizon..."
6:13 Start here.
Even starting here, there are three paragraphs of questions and assumptions before one word is spoken in the movie.
If you let the story unfold as intended, no guessing, assuming or distracting chit chat is necessary.
Can’t wait for the day you guys watch black sails!
That reminds me. This sh!t movie was made on the Goldie where I live on a boat. In bums bay they built a huge set. No boaties had to leave. They CGIed out all the boats here. I even know which scenes.
I think a lot of people missed this movie, just because it came so much later on! I just can´t describe the love for the ending, and so enjoyable to see that you found it the same way! The fact that they 10 years later actually have Will and Elisabeth back, it´s just too much🥹 Absolutely loved your reactions to this whole series!
The fourth film serves to explain the missing leg and the pearl in the bottle. I did miss Pintel and Ragetti in the fifth film but the soldiers from the dock made up a bit.
51:15 the dutch man must always have a captain
I actually didn't really dislike Stranger Tides, but I don't like this one because they kind of just blatantly ignored what the whole idea of the Flying Dutchman was. The reason Davy Jones and his crew became like sea creatures is because he abandoned his duties. When Will became the captain he broke that curse, and I can only assume he has been fulfilling his duties so it makes no sense that he would be physically affected the way he was.
Also the actual role of the Flying Dutchman and it's captain was never really a curse like they say, there was a reason for it, which was to guide souls to the next life.
Then there's Jack, sure they make him goofy and have crazy moments, but it's like they just turn him into a comic relief besides having him actually having skills and being a trickster.
It's like they saw the surface level stuff of pirates like the goofy funny moments, and the magic and they wanted to bring back beloved characters and have some kind of poetic finale but just threw a movie together without paying any attention to the past continuity or what made the others good.
Barbossa best character development of the franchise, and my favorite characater of the movies. Glad he had a great ending.
I’m glad u guys liked it! People can be so negative and have high expectations for movies these days! This one wraps the series up nicely.
If Salazar even dares to face davy jones davy would absolutely tourcher him into his locker
Jack ended the first movie with the Black Pearl with Gibbs and the rest of his crew saving him from hanging in Port Royal, Will helped him escape so it is a nice tie in that the first movie and potentially last (5th movie) end with Jack being the Captain of the Black Pearl again, a full circle moment! Cause remember to Jack the Black Pearl is more than a ship, the Black Pearl is his freedom!
They reshot the final scene after screen tests revealed people wanted Elizabeth to be in it too
Loved your reaction as always. You should watch society of the snow. It's a great movie and I would love to hear what you have to say about that one. If you do watch it I recommend the original language with subtitles, the acting was amazing
Great Reaction
Maybe the title is changed because they wanted to censor the Dead Men in the title?

Barbossa ... You always will be the TRUE "HEART" of Pirates for me!!!... Yup This one gives Barbossa the rendemption he needs!... And changes the Will/Elisabeth bitter sweet storyline ending of the 1st three!... So of course it would have needed to be seen!... Good watch and great reaction from Spartan and Pudgey! :)
So how exactly do the souls of the dead get to afterlife if there's no "curse" of the Flying Dutchman.
Also unless there was a big time skip then Will and Elizabeth's son should've been like 10 years old, and if there was a big time skip then the original cast looks suspiciously young
Will has no heart in him, so breaking the curse should be the end of him.
That’s why I said ‘Thank You!!’ On the last Pirates reaction because you guys were gonna watch Barbossa’s full story on Dead Men Tales & Will’s love coming back ☠️👍👍.
