Ripley’s nosebleed was from the ‘Airlock scene’ that they only recorded audio of and the scene it would cut between with Ripley and Lambert on the bridge. Footage is on the DVDs and Blu rays and the whole scene is played out in the novelisation. In short, when Parker goes to refill Dallas’ flamethrower he encounters the alien in the main airlock, seemingly fascinated by a flashing light. He contacts the others on the bridge to open the airlock to get rid of the creature, but at the last second someone sees off an alarm, which startles the alien enough to make it jump back, trapping an arm in the closing doors. It barrels past Parker after tearing its arm off to escape. Ripley arrives just after and before she can help Parker up the acid from the severed limb burns through the hatch, depressurising the room. Lambert arrives and lets them back in, saving them both, with Ripley bleeding and Parker bearly conscious. This then causes Ripley to question, if they are all there, then who set off the alarm? This leads her to talk to MUTHER and the subsequent scene with Ash. It also explains where the other two were (Lambert takes Parker to medbay and the two arrive to rescue Ripley from Ash.) Parker also looks far more disheveled than when we last see him in the film, again a hangover from the missing scene. BTW the whole scene is playable in the DLC of Alien Isolation ‘Crew Expendable’ where it is combined with the scene of Dallas in the vents. In this you can play as Dallas, Parker or Ripley. Whoever you play as passes out after the alien escapes the airlock, with Ash emotionlessly commenting on how it was a ‘pity’ the creature escaped. As for the fourth wall breaking chimes, I always assumed it was just the air conditioning and Ash’s reaction was because he realised that the others would be there soon so he had to get on killing her quickly.

I'm kidding. 😂 I thought it was obvious from what I said. Stellar Blade is similar to Nier in the sense that it's mostly known for its attractive female lead, but Nier stands in a league of its own due to how amazing the story, themes and world building.
19:40 I don't think this is an outcry by Christians but by leftists who hate portrayals of attractive women. I'm a Christian, and I'm personally not interested in the game because of the imagery, but I'm not calling for it to be censored or changed. If I find it objectionable, I simply won't play it. I think the difference between Stellar Blade and Resident Evil: Village is that Eve is an attractive heroine whereas Dimitrescu is fetishized since she's an evil, vampiric monster that tortures your character.
The whole Eve topic is senseless. Her Skinsuit is not naked. It is her armor that projects all the costumes over it. And she is not a real human so i don't understand. Maybe she needs to be a bear to be naked.
52:34 You uncultured plebs! (Jk) In case you're wondering what this is referencing, Playback Time was a movie within "Mr. Bean's Holiday," in which a snooty film director (played by Willem Dafoe) stars in his own movie.
I can tell you why some games get a pass while Stellar Blade doesnt, its *who* it appeals too. Its fine when it appeals to the correct people, submissive kink for a big mommy vampire is okay, conventional masculine attraction to a woman is not okay.
On the retroactively editing movies discussion, I agree with Mauler. I watched The Phantom Menace in theaters this weekend and I was having a great time. The movie was better than I remember. But then Yoda showed up. I watched the dvd a lot as a kid and he was a puppet. Now he’s cgi. It’s not a big deal, but it took me out of the movie. Leave them alone once released.
@@davidcopperfield5345 Do you mean thoughts on Director’s Cuts? I’ve never actually seen the original cut of Blade Runner. I think those are a different thing. Adding or changing scenes to meet the directors original vision can be ok, like Watchmen or Lord of the Rings. I think it would be better if they were released in their final form. Editing out a coffee cup or making Yoda cgi is not worth it. The distinction is small, but whatever Lucas was doing with the Star Wars films is not the right way in my opinion.
Ooof, props to Gary for calling out the over use of fat ugly lesbians in western video games XD Thankfully only a couple of EVE's outfits got affected by the Sony censorship BS. For those playing Stellar blade I'd recommend getting the Cyber magician, Moutan Peony, Blue monsoon and Black Pearl outfit.
51:00 - that's what's I don't get; this constant lamentation about modern villains being tragic or sympathetic. This can be done well; Jinx from Arcane was one of the best characters in that show, Gollum from LOTR is also good example, many Batman villains were also like this and people already mentioned Vader. There's nothing wrong with tragic villains - is the fact that in modern days they been written poorly.
I think the lamentation is that the just plain evil villain (without them also being stupid and/or cartoonishly over the top mustache twirly) has largely disappeared. It's not so much an aversion to sympathetic villains, as having a preponderance of one single type of villain.
The official version of warhammer 40k is not retcon..its what it has always been until madmen took over or women took over and decided to lie and deceive. @@davidcopperfield5345 and with a god tier soundtrack. Ah nice asses and boobs too
Don’t compare Stellar Blade to Nier Automata. One has heart put into the characters, story, and dialogue.
The other created 100 outfits for a robot.
@@nhagan001 Soooo...
Which is which?
I'm kidding. 😂
I thought it was obvious from what I said.
If disney can decanonize the Star Wars expanded universe, then we, the fans, can consider anything disney made to be non canon.
That play back time was a film starring wilem Dafoe in mr bean film it was a supossedly good writer and a shity film in mr bery funny film
AY UP DRINKER AND MAULER
Bullet Train wa complete shit.
Nobody was angry when that loathsome game Agony released. Was that because it was bad?
52:34 You uncultured plebs! (Jk)
In case you're wondering what this is referencing, Playback Time was a movie within "Mr. Bean's Holiday," in which a snooty film director (played by Willem Dafoe) stars in his own movie.
They were not joking around about the bounty...just dont.
Hm?
I probably agree with you there.
Thoughts on Bladerunner
@@davidcopperfield5345 Do you mean thoughts on Director’s Cuts? I’ve never actually seen the original cut of Blade Runner. I think those are a different thing. Adding or changing scenes to meet the directors original vision can be ok, like Watchmen or Lord of the Rings. I think it would be better if they were released in their final form. Editing out a coffee cup or making Yoda cgi is not worth it. The distinction is small, but whatever Lucas was doing with the Star Wars films is not the right way in my opinion.
@@PeaceOrUtterDestruction Makes sense.
Ooof, props to Gary for calling out the over use of fat ugly lesbians in western video games XD
Thankfully only a couple of EVE's outfits got affected by the Sony censorship BS. For those playing Stellar blade I'd recommend getting the Cyber magician, Moutan Peony, Blue monsoon and Black Pearl outfit.
Interesting. I didn't realize that there were some unaffected by it.
Dk why my SC haven’t been read out in recent times?
Ocean Maid is the best suit in SB. It literally makes Eve thiccer
i thought u guys broke up
love emily blunt but she is NO Heather Thomas
The official version of warhammer 40k is not retcon..its what it has always been until madmen took over or women took over and decided to lie and deceive. Using common sense and a little respect of source material will show you this...ita like marvwl coming up with garbage and saying..tony stark isnt the original iron man..or steve rogers isnt the original captain america...do not accept the lie...just cause someone decides after getting a job...this isnt canon..or that isnt canon..doesnt make it so..no rewrite of history should be accepted...use common sense and stand up for what you believe..
Second!
First, believe that!

Mauler praising genetic purity? Kinda sus.
40k humor. ;)
The Fall Guy was not fine! It was an abomination! A disaster on every level! Not even the stunts work in the context of the story! And Mauler not speaking up, is just pusseying out! Like he pusseyed! out on Dune 2! For shame!
Sounds like he hasnt seen it based on his response
Where is 94?
Was watching it live last night but had to go, now cant find it.
If a studio tried that with something like terrifier it would ruin the movie the graphic kills art does it what make those movies so good that’s why Damian makes them himself outside of the movie industry
Sydney Sw( . Y . )ney over Eve every day
