I found it distracting with all of the extra activity. It was hard to focus on what Laura was doing. Also, the camera angle was wider and we couldnât see the detail in items as well (but my vision is the pits, so that might be just me).
@@ce4me810 I felt the same way. I found myself watching Aaron fiercely opening the boxes and hoping he would put the envelopes together so she would know who sent them, etc. Then, Benjamin doing his thing on the right. I will have to watch it again on slow motion.
@@mariafolch8067 Yes, I found it rather frantic and distracting as well, like Aaron was trying to help, but at the same time rushing Laura through the process so she couldnât be herself and acknowledge each gift like she wanted to. He also seemed like maybe he was having a bad day. It must be hard trying to do a balancing act of trying to give the viewers what they want, but also not spending hours upon hours opening gifts. I donât know the best solution.

Mail time reminds me of the 60s and 70s when Santa clause was on TV on Saturdays reading letters from kids. I'd watch faithfully and enjoy each and every letter. Great memories and great times

I love your mail times for a lot of reasons, but mainly because you're so sweet, respectful, & grateful. You actually appreciate how much time, money, & energy goes into handmade gifts like crochet, quilts, cross stitch, etc. I absolutely LOVE Claus! You introduced us to him & I started following him on Instagram. What a sweet kind talented remarkable man. I'd give anything to be able to read his books. I really hope he publishes them in English soon.

Can I just say, watching Aaron was almost as interesting as cooing over the baby stuff. His enthusiasm was great. Laura would ask him if he liked something and he'd dutifully agree. Also, like father like son, Benjamin was so stinkin' cute doing his own thing.

I'm way behind as you can see but I also have a January 18th baby. In 2020, when yours was born, mine turned 42 and is still just as special as she was that day in 1978.
