Millions of humans on the lowest rungs of the ladder of life are able to watch videos like this one on CZcams. I was born in 1937 where the only mass communication available at that time was AM radio that was often so filled with static that little could be heard on it. Thus, very little of the injustices between the 1 percent rich, and the rest of us, was ever known by the vast majority of humans. I'm not complaining for myself, I've had a wonderful life, but with information given on places like CZcams, the unconscionable disparity of wealth in this world must sooner or later be dealt with. I fear that the history of our species has shown that most of the past imbalances similar to this vast one, have been dealt with by the flow of blood.
People in the poorest countries need emancipation from tyrannical governments, dictators and tyrants. The poorest people remain poor because the wealth is kept rather than used for the benefit of the population. Every rich country in the world suffered poverty and horrible injustices. My grandfather was born 1910 here in Sweden, mass communication at the time was the same - also AM radio, phones existed but hardly on the countrysides. His father before him lived in times where government were relatively new. It was not long ago since kings ruled in our country, and people lived under dictated laws from the nobles, crown and church. People revolted in Europe with oceans of blood to change the times. In Sweden it peacefully moved to government with laws and rights for citizens between 1720 to 1770. Actual changes for people came in the 1800's. Poverty still took a long time to change into wealth, why many people immigrated to the United States at the time, because changes were SLOW in Sweden at the time. My grandfather grew up in the times just as things changed, and industries were popping up everywhere. The wealth we generated then, were not on the backs of poor people elsewhere in the world. It was all our own tears and sweat. Today though, the excess wealth by banks and corporations. Like sweatshops for instance - are very much enabled by poor countries. What pisses me off, is that the governments of those "poor" countries are holding on the money for their own "class" and don't give up more than absolutely necessary for it's population. If they did, these people would lead completely different lives. Poor countries are rich, it is just that you have to look at the very top to find it.
I saw this was made in 2010. I wonder if Matteson, the 31yr old miner, is still alive. It's awful how that corporation takes advantage of these people.
That's just the way the world work. poor countries exported raw materials to the rich countries who then manufactured products out of those and sold them back with high price
I've been living in the Philippines for 10 years now next door to Indonesia. I've seen first hand the exploitation of people like this. You get used to see people like them as a privileged Westerner. Imagine how much more callous business owners are who grew up into this system.
The daughter and the Kid really broke my heart, 1.5 euro for that work and to think a beer costed me more than that when I was in Austria, just shows the tough life these guys lead or meagre pay.
Bullshit! There won't be 'any' rewards nor paradise nor virgins either. Religion has been lying and conning people into false beliefs for eternity. What, you think "oh wow Allah will reward me"? Why can't Allah, if he's so great just ease the horrible situation these poor blokes are in, even just a little? Why do people have to suffer so much? For what reason? Religion is a farce... yours and mine! Don't insult these poor buggers with empty promises that mean zero anyway. If I can send food, clothing, tools etc. from 10,000 miles away so can you. Do something meaningful. Allah my ass!
and while ever these poor people believe this bullshit they will put up with being exploited to their early death and the fat cats will grow ever richer.
@@erikb2270 number one ,the practices of the gentlemen in the video isnt islamic at all and just because there is evil on earth doesn't mean Allah doesn't exist . And if you fulfill purpose of this life even if you suffered for a hundred year once you will be dipped in paradise you will not remember the suffering because you cant compare this life to the everlasting one.And islam encourages to fight poverty ,unfortunately these countries arent and as a species all together were responsible because people dont give a damn . You are kind! Bless For my people!
Yours are kind people. Tq
I was surprised, the company did not do that..
Indeed. Awareness toward the local authorities/business and the Government needs to be made and raised. You could say, a program like this is pretty invaluable.
Monetary donations while always very noble, will unfortunately be swindled in the hands of corrupt authorities. So, it needs to be awareness. You can say even WHO and other large national welfare organisations are partly guilty
likewise just as i said i was humbled greatly. my question is this hell??
I thought my life was difficult and then I saw these men. I wish there is a way I can fund gas mask for some of them.. Respect to all the strong men in this documentary
Nothing about that kind of thinking has changed since back in the antiquity 2500 years ago. That was when Plato penned the words "Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a harder battle.”
There is a saying of Prophet Muhammad “Always compare your life with the one who have less thn your life so that you will always be great full with your life.
Lord Jesus also says to us "love others as I have loved you" and "let he who is without sin cast the first stone" its important not to compare your life with anyone elses, to not beget vanity at the expense of someone elses woes

they actually can afford a proper gas mask like the pipe dude have, they get about 8 bucks a day, they can get those mask for $5 there, and $50 for a full face type, they can buy them if they save some money by stop smoking an expensive cigarette. i think they just don't know where to buy, or they just dont care enough to spent money

They shouldn't have to supply their own. The company is ripping them off big time. They should be supplying all manner of safety gear, fixing up their homes, and just stop exploiting the desperate. I really hope the people recording these segments donate all the materials these people need. There’s no way I could be right there with a camera and leave without making sure they’re ok.
I'm not complaining for myself, I've had a wonderful life, but with information given on places like CZcams, the unconscionable disparity of wealth in this world
must sooner or later be dealt with.
Inshallah they are rewarded in Jennah for such a hard life on earth Ameen
As for why people have to suffer ,well first of all why should human beings exist in first place but since we''re not necessary beings there must be a reason . So blame the people and not God because God the only necessary being exists wither you like it or not and that being doesnt create you for mere play or to amuse Him .
