@@gautamiyer7967 there isn’t a competitor because of the business model, also CZcams is backed by google, however, that’s doesn’t mean these guys can’t just host the full episodes on their website while only dropping clips on CZcams. They could make their own app as well. That way they can keep all the money and not have to worry about their content being taken down .
@@Shadowserpant00 CZcams is a video hosting platform. They also run off Ad revenue and can demonitize your videos for any reason they see fit. In this way, for like $12 a year for a domain name (which, if you're savvy enough you can actually buy these domains flat-out and own them as your own registrar) and the hydro it costs to power your little server closet. Shit, you can fit these R710's behind a dressor, or a tv cabinet NO PROB. I say all this cuz, I've done it. I have zero education and zero background on this stuff. I just decided "Fuck it, Ima see what im capable of" and it turns out if you keep looking - there is always an answer... Especially if youre willing to bend the rules....
But in this way nobody can offline your website and material without actually HACKING into your server..... Which is a shit tonne of work if you're up to date on patches. If you choose to accept advertising dollars its on you and what you choose to accept in the terms.
A FANTASTIC example of why CZcams is leaving: The Flagrant 2 Alex Jones episode. Not only did they delete it from CZcams, The CREATORS ACCOUNT, (which they have no access to the content anymore because their server is in brooklyn and theyre in miami) they actually went and DELETED it from people who had downloaded it to their device.... So they actually went into peoples devices searching for this video and when they found it they deleted it from a LOCAL DATABASE (your youtube downloads folder). These mfers are overstepping their boundaries MAJORLY and believe me when I tell you: Im a fuckin dumbass. I DID NOT do amazing in school, I did NOT impress anyone at any stage with my intelligence. YOU CAN DO WHAT I SPEAK OF FOR LIKE $300!!!! I swear to fuck. You go to R/Homelabs and start lookin around and reading and let it bloom from there. Servers are THE SHIT. And nobody... gets their dirty little Boomer hands on your content.
