On a normal day in March of 2021, we set out do some Urban Exploration. But what we found on that fateful day, would haunt us for a very long time.
This episode is a re-edit of episode 3 of our Abandoned and Forgotten series. We never discussed the paranormal activity in detail on the original episode, because we did not want our channel’s main focus to look like paranormal content.

Many things in life can't be explained and fall in the category of the paranormal. Your investigation was very interesting in that respect. It's also very good that you're able to video this hospital before it's torn down. Many people were probably born here and unfortunately many lives ended here. Being able to view this will be a treasure for many

Nope, I had Rudi and Clarissa with me, but it was still a haunting experience to say the least 😅👻
So many boxes with stuff in them. What makes the whole thing a little spooky is definitely the long hallway, but that's the way people used to build it. In Germany there is a huge abandoned sanatorium that is also said to have paranormal spooks. Whether it's true, I don't know. I don't believe in anything like that at all. It's now a ruin because at some point a bunch of complete idiots made the pilgrimage there and destroyed and destroyed everything. 😡
We also didn't believe in the paranormal, but we have come across too many instances where it is now difficult to deny the possibility.
I also hate that people destroy abandoned places. There is a total lack of respect in todays society.

Some basic facts about this hospital. It was mainly used for the 1000 odd non-white workers who lived in a compound not far away. A GP from the hospital made weekly visits to the rec hall to see white people. If we were really sick we went to Sasol.
I saw you refered to out house next to houses in your first video. These were maid quarters. For a few rand you could employ women to cook or clean your house. These women followed their men from mine to mine. Once you employed them they had somewhere to stay and became part of the mining community and then would have free excess to the hospital
There were many stories about miners refusing to work because of strange sounds underground

I tried to find some info on the Heritage sites and on google, but nothing came up on this hospital's history.
I am so glad that someone that actually lived in the area can give some solid background details.

I am using a DJI Osmo Action, with a Smallrig Vlogging setup as my main Camera. And a GoPro Hero 6 Black as a backup, also in a Smallrig vlogging setup.
(The image stabilization on the OSMO Action is still one of the best in my opinion)
My drone is the DJI Air 2S, and a DJI Mini as backup.
