Pau is an empath. The kid can write like few adults. She can read and sing like few adults. She can beat the hell out of her drum kit and sing at the same time. Genius... sheer genius. Her sisters are geniuses in other ways. They're all special. This is a special band.

It's been at least 5 years since I've been wondering how a 12-year-old wrote, then performed Black Holes. It took me almost three times that to screw up my life to the point where I feel those lyrics.
Revenant might be the most beautiful scariest song ever written!
Pau doesn't have the range of some singers but she has a way of evicting emotion that a lot of singers can't. that last 20-30 seconds hits you right in the feels. i chop onions every time. I love Dany as the lead singer, but Pau has her moments and they are always fantastic. Subscribed.
Nice! This was an Instagram challenge. Pau gave the fans four song choices for her to do. They chose Creep. So she went off and in four hours gave this performance. She blows away everybody who hears this for the first time
Paulina Villarreal is an exceptionally talented young lady!
All three of these sisters are simply amazing. They can just spontaneously break out into a capella song and it's perfect. All 3 can sing lead and they don't put out a bad song.
I dunno how one out of tune piano can bring out so many tears.

I'm not sure how many times I've watched and heard this video... and. it always gets me right in the heart. Every. Single. Time. Pau's ability to connect with and convey emotion through her delivery of a song is incredible. You mentioned PASSION Samantha...and that's what it comes down to. All three, Dany, Pau and Ale, have so much passion for their art and you cannot ignore them, because as a listener, they connect with you and you connect with them. Great reaction.
In acting and film making, the issue centers in character development, how a person evokes and the script enables one to see how a human goes through a process of transformation. Here, Pau transforms from an adolescent girl to a powerful woman in the space of one song. Her start is shaky, simple, vulnerable, young. But over time she evolves into a powerful, strong, emotional woman. It’s the transformation that gets me. It builds, culminates, and hits hard. That’s what I like about it! 😊

This was a response to a online challenge to learn and song and perform it. She did this in one take after four hours of learning the song. She writes many if not most of The Warning's songs, definitely the primary lyricist for the band. As well as she plays piano, her primary instrument is a drum kit and she can play drums and sing at the same time, which for anyone who hasn't done that, it is hard as hell because you're sitting down and using all four of your limbs at the same time. She sings background vocals on songs where she isn't the lead singer. She's a musical genius.

Hi Samantha - Another great reaction! I saw the emotion on your face responding to Pau’s singing. She has a unique way of conveying feelings through her tone and voice control and made “Creep” her own. On The Warning’s album “Error” - which was fully released just two weeks ago, she is the lead singer on three songs toward the end of the album. Since you relate to her singing, I HIGHLY suggest you check out the song “23” czcams.com/video/wWW46SudR7Y/video.html ... and also “Revenant” czcams.com/video/bTzjJNgAlTk/video.html - it’s impossible not to feel the pain, vulnerability, isolation and desperation in her voice. I bow to you being a mom, the most difficult profession in the world.
I’ve watched several vocal coaches react to this.
Most of them seemed to view this cover through the lens of criticism rather than appreciation.
Some seemed to approach the reaction with the mindset that Pau was attempting to pass herself off as a world class singer and were determined to pick the performance apart instead of taking it as it was intended.
Pau may not have been technically perfect in her execution but I dare anyone to find another cover that conveyed more emotion than this one.
The average person listing to something like this probably can’t pick out the incredibly small imperfections that some of these vocal coaches seem to revel in pointing out. We listen with our hearts and that how we decide if we enjoy the song.
3 hours learning it as an IG challenge, then performing on the family piano. All the ladies in The Warning are very special...I think Pau may be especially special.

Pau's voice has a lot of power and emotion, Creep is the perfect song to show that. The scream from her in Evolve is primal and a bit scary (to me at least). I'm also impressed she has the breath to sing and drum.

2 years later,and this cover still sends shivers - it is in my opinion the best cover version of "Creep" even better than the Post Modern Jukebox with Haley Reinhardt. But great reaction,but considering how much you loved this,then you really should react to one of Paulinas earlier numbers called "Black Holes" and maybe "Revenant" and "Breathe" (very similar in style to this) off the new album by The Warning called "Error"..."Breathe" should leave you breathless

The Warning have 2 singers that are better than many working today. Dany is the perfect lead vocalist, with attitude to spare, but Pau has an innocence and vulnerability that will tug on your heartstrings.
