Maybe for experienced observers of the game would know this, but I've only been watching football for four years, and this taught me a lot.
Yeah it's nothing that opposing teams already don't know but still a very good general view of his system

@@insertname8451 The interviewer was an international who played in the CL final. I bet none of us did that. And there were some insights, without giving away the bank. Like Kane and Dier staying within 30M of each other all the time. Also that he likes wingers who can convert to WB, not FB to convert because of speed and ability to do 1 v 1. Also, it's such an overused trope that our midfield 2 always get outnumbered. Well, I've seen the set up and Conte showed it, too, that when we defend, the 2 WBs make up a 5 in D, and two of the forwards flank the midfield 2 to make a 4 while defending. Of course, it's another matter if the 2 are giving the ball away or getting dispossessed. COYMFS!
Everyone knows Conte's method, but many could not stop him with Juventus, with Chelsea, and with Inter, and I hope that with Tottenham
They look extremely average against low blocks. I think that will be a big problem if Conte doesnt sort it out

Some key points from that Interview. Conte confirming after 7 months, they have been looking at different ideas/approaches and also the change he has to make while at Chelsea. Moving from the back 4 to a back 3. Conte is always looking to find the best ways to get the most out of his players. And it’s clear how certain individuals have improved over such a short space of time
Mark of good coach knowing where his players will succeed the best, sometimes the players will revolt, but success and winning cures everything, what I want to see is the Spurs come out of gate with more fire, not having second half heroics which is great but against the big clubs like City, Liverpool, they will tear you apart fast then it becomes a tough mountain to climb back, next game against Forest will be interesting their well coached take them lightly at your peril but this will be the game where the Spurs need to come out with fire really show their dominance, we are heading in the right direction it's going to be a dog fight in the top 4 I think City pretty much going to be on top but 2 to 4 will be a great battle to watch,
I'm a Utd fan but the fact that he made Lukaku look so good is something else

That is one of his biggest strengths. He is great at improving players. He will squeeze blood from the stone. AC Milan let go of Pirlo because he was old and wasn't being used too much, came to Juventus and Conte got the best out of him and made Milan look dumb for letting him go. Not to mention that he somehow made an attack made up of an old Del Piero, Matri and Vucinic who were mediocre work, and went on to win the league unbeaten. Top notch manager.

I thought the players were too slow to get going but from what I see, it is how Conte sets the team up, keep it tight and work your way through the game. but sometimes I feel we are a bit too deep and allow teams to control the midfield.
Every spurs match : Opponent has the ball > Spurs let them play > opponent create chance, then take a shoot > the ball left the pitch > Lloris kick the ball far away > the opponent get the ball > repeat
Conte will tell everyone these tactics then when we play forest totally change the system .he's that smart
This takes me back years ago, playing with my Tottenham Hotspur team I got for Christmas that year. Conte is just a master. COYS.

It's funny how it's so easy to understand yet even players that has learnt from 4-5 top coaches still fails at coaching.
Just shows how complex every in game tactics and preparation actually are.
This is the very basics of his foundation, he rotates players to overload a space on one side of the pitch and boxing players in with his dms, his plan could be very solid, but needs very strong players.
It's because ideas have to be transferred to players and they have to recognise the situation within the moment when the coach isn't on the field - so really the mark of a great coach is ensuring all players know their role within the wider organisation. Also in the EPL exploiting space is extremely hard if you don't move the ball fast because players are extremely good at ground coverage.
AC the king of master piece no wonder Hoibergs starts in the middle of every game because he is very strong and has stamina he cuts and destroy his opponents counter attack.

I've noticed the corner set up. Son kicks it in, someone gets a flick on it, and Kane finishes it. Another thing I've noticed is Kulusevski's crosses. He stays wide, takes a cut to the left, and crosses it far.

I really interested with Man Utd defenders, Lisandro Martínez, that dude play like the prime Park Ji Sung+Puyol, he is all over the map and stop so many attack from Liverpoool...What a crazy stamina he have! Been watching the United hammering by brentford last week, yesterday’s match liv-mun and I came into conclusion that the teams that press the highest and run the most eventually win. Well am not criticizing my team for that but in the last three games bar southampton, we didn’t show much of what we can be and were mostly overrun especially the Chelsea and the wolves game, well conte knows more than I do and am not claiming to be more knowledgeable than him interms of football but I’d like my team to get at teams sometimes, and listening to recent conte remarks, they are trying to improve in that interms of pressing teams. I believe we are the fittest team on the league and we need to show it on the pitch
Why would we be more fit than other teams? Don’t they have elite fitness coaches and access to what we as a club have? Haven’t seen any proof that Tottenham players are more fit than lets say City or Leeds
@@haeskenhoff that because fitness helps with end of season. Man city rotate alot so.keeps them fresh. And also we seem to be better second half than first. And always better team by end of match. Probably due to tactics as well as fitness.

There are alot of things that happens during or before a game
If you understand football principles you'll realise nothing of substance was communicated here. These are tactical guidelines anyone preparing a team to face us knows already.
I think many clubs know Conte very well. We got lucky with Chelsea, Wolves, Arsenal. They know we need our strikers Son, Kane, Kulu to score most of our goals and they are implementing strategies to neutralize them. I want to know what we are doing to bring back Son.
