    HydroSlick is unlike any product you’ve ever used before - it’s a new product that truly deserves its own category! A HyperWax combines the ease of use of a wax with the longevity, beading, slickness, and insane shine of a ceramic. HydroSlick uses the latest in SiO2 gel suspension technology to totally re-engineer the makeup of a ceramic coating and reinvent it as an extremely user-friendly and durable coating that anyone can apply. Oh ya did we mention it has no wax? HydroSlick is not a wax, it’s the first ever HyperWax!
    HydroSlick is a true ceramic coating formulated to deliver a crystal-like superior shine and incredible reflective finish, while still offering the similarity and customer familiarity of a wax! By filling in microscopic surface imperfections, HydroSlick creates a super smooth surface that reflects light back at you with unparalleled shine like only a true ceramic can. It’s so easy, you can apply as often as you want! Use HydroSlick alone as a standalone ceramic coating on untreated paint for year-round durable protection, or add it to HydroCharge or your favorite Chemical Guys ceramic coating to make the shine pop even more!

    I'm not a pro-detailer by any means simply a week-end warrior.
    I've really shyed away from ceramic coatings or any hybrid of Sio2 infused products simply because I love my Blacklight glaze and sealant followed by butter wet wax - my car ends up looking like a wet jolly rancher!!! The only thing is rain or dust from daily-driving greatly reduces how long this lasts so :/ - Ideally I would love to apply those products over HydroSlic for extra protection - but from what I heard since there is a very deep coating over the paint caused by the Hydroslic anything over it like a glaze or sealant , especially waxes would not bond to the surface of the paint as well. I'm not sure if I'm right but I would love to get an answer and hopefully have the best of both worlds !

    • @ChemicalGuys
      @ChemicalGuys  Pƙed 4 lety +6

      Hey Armando! The information you were given is inaccurate, applying HydroSlick will lock in shine and repel the elements while giving your paint a super hydrophobic finish that is enhanced by applying your Black Light, sealant, and Butter Wet Wax. You're gonna love HydroSlick.

      So are we still applying/layering the glaze(black light) first then, or on top of the hydroslik.
      If black light is layed down first will it not effect how well the hydroslik binds to the paint. That is to say when I'm done polishing, I will typically give a wipe with alchohol and then lay down a polymer sealant. This way the sealant goes right on the paint.??? Then I can add wax or glaze or anything nonabrasive after
