pretty sure the high note on 'looove' is incorrect
I agree the Everly brothers sung it in (G) not (C) the note of (love) is an (E) by Don and Phil, Phil holds the note while Don runs down the scale
I just made the same observation
It doesnt sound bad what they are doing but the the dissonance is completely missing which is one of the more intriguing elements of the everly brothers harmony on this song.
@@johncarlo7395 They are singing it correctly for the key they're in.
da324 no, they’re not. The phrase starts in unison and Don runs down the scale.
i love this song! you guys did a great job, i know its a tough one, Keep on rocking!!
You're supposed to be on the same not (in unison) until he descends and you maintain the note.
Fail.
Yes
This is totally wrong. They are singing in unison at the start of each line until he diverges.
not actually the correct harmonies, nice at a family party and thanks for sharing - but not 'definitive' by any means
Also the guy on the right is singing his part with very annoying vibrato, not at all in the original.
Yikes
Great song ruined by those two worst version I have ever heard horrible
