Ukraine forces 'destroy Russian hangar & tank used to destroy Luhansk bridge'

- Ukrainian troops bomb a Russian hangar and destroy a 2S4 Tyulpan 240-mm self-propelled mortar that was used to attack local homes and a bridge.
The attack, carried out by the Ukrainian Rapid Reaction Brigade and members of the 24th Mechanized Brigade, took place in the easternmost Ukrainian region of Luhansk Oblast.
National Guard of Ukraine said on 22nd May: “Video story of the bright liquidation of the ‘Tyulpan’ 240-mm self-propelled mortar in Luhansk region. With his equipment, the occupiers destroyed the bridge between Severodonetsk and Lysychansk and destroyed houses in Severodonetsk.
“The artillery of the NMU Rapid Reaction Brigade and the 24th Mechanized Brigade named after King Daniel first lured the enemy out of the hangar and then destroyed them.
“Thanks to the Russian propagandists for the tip.”
“Also, in the same place, a fleet of enemy vehicles was destroyed.
“Let's stop the enemy together!”
The 24th Mechanized Brigade said on 22nd May: “Another video showing the joint work of artillerymen of the Royal Brigade and the Rapid Response Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine.
“It shows the bright moment a ‘Tyulpan’ 240-mm self-propelled mortar is destroyed, which the occupier used to blow up civilian infrastructure in Severodonetsk and Lysychansk.
“Unity is our strength.”
Russian troops invaded Ukraine on 24th February in what the Kremlin is still calling a "special military operation". Today marks the 89th day of the campaign.

@Lectures from Leeds • A drone was probably only used for targeting. The building was probably shelled by some of the new artillery Ukraine has received.
By the way, if the Ukraine pilots were trained on NATO fighter jets and they had been supplied in advance of the war, Ukraine would have controlled the skies in a matter of days and their cities would have been protected from the destructive shelling. Unfortunately, only hindsight is 20/20.

@@prestonphillips6552 The same thing sort of happened to me - but under different circumstances. It involved a saucepan of boiling water and a large tin of beans, of course the effects weren't as devastating but it's given me a pretty good idea of what went on in that tank!

The impact of drones has really become massive. In the future, all militaries will have to adapt to it.
Very big impact, when isis took the Marawi City in the Philippines wayback 2016, army used drones to locate the hideouts of isis and their commander. It took 6 months only to defeat those terrorist.
Israel goes hard, fairly well adapted tbh I'm sure America prob too I bet (ciws and all the other trophy systems, which is actually also Israeli made lol) but between Iron Dome and their fighter jets it's intense. IAF shot down two drones with F35s already. Actually managed to get world's first confirmed kills on that mission, with the planes. They scrambled em JUST to hit some Iranian drones.
So you have the Russians whose trying to shoot these drones down with their AKs and the Israelis are yeeting arguably the world's premiere multirole stealth fighter after drones, in contrast 🤣🤣 point being some countries are very adapting better than others. Especially seeing as the sunken Rus Warship was supposed to have a pretty sophisticated ciws itself, which clearly failed miserably in defending against missile strikes
@@B01 I'm amazed at how big a role drones play in today's world. I didn't realize it until now, only after following the war in Ukraine. I think some countries still have a lot of catching up to do. Because I don't think we are that strong with drones in our country. There are also strong regulations on drones in our private sector, which mostly has to do with data protection.
I think that massive explosion came from the Russian blowing themselves up once they realized they're on fire and the door was jammed.

From what I seen of combat footage, Ukraine is really good at targeting Russian military targets accurately with their limited firepower while Russia tends to fire a lot of their artilleries wildly and most of it end up on civilian targets and while most missed their targets. Some do hit but many end up in civilian areas.
