Yeah it is impressive, probably the most impressive chip ever. Doesnt mean Dirk is anywhere near KD skill wise. KD is an even better shooter, much better dribbler, passer and defender, he is faster and more atheltic and he has the same size. A KD who isnt able to dribble players that much anymore is basically dirk with better passing and a slightly better jumper. Thats true skill wise. The other question is on how strong KD is mentaly compared to dirk, but I believe that he has grown mentaly with those two titles and fmvps and that he maybe has grown even more during his rehab
I think Dinwiddie is speaking in terms of if KD loses 20% of his athleticism, he would play like Dirk. I’ve said the same thing. His size, high release and sweat spots on the floor are comparable. Why is this a big deal?

Last season harden average 9.7ppg on the free throw line. He average 36.1ppg last year. That means he average 26.4ppg away from the free throw line.

I did this as a class experiment when a student said Curry sacrificed for Durant. Well Durant sacrificed for everyone and still avg 25-27 ppg. His efficiency rate is way higher than everyone else which is why in the playoffs last year, Kerr wanted KD shooting 25 shots per game. Ppl hate just to hate which is what's wrong with the entire world.

When KD showed up in last year’s NBA finals, we can say KD was 80% before he tore his Achilles and that 80% KD was enough to score 11 points in about 12 minutes. So I agree an 80% KD is as good as Nowitzki because KD would have dropped 40 in that finals game.

MJ/Kobe is a better scorer than KD they didn't use screens or have systems set up for them, they had to find ways to create their own shots through physical tough defense, KD is more versatile, and taller
MJ has 10 scoring titles, multiple 30+ ppg seasons, and some ridiculous playoff scoring performances. Easy for KD to be efficient when he had Curry and Klay spacing the floor and creating open shots for him.
