- Despite being preseason favorites, Kevin Durant and the Brooklyn Nets found themselves in a play-in matchup against the Cleveland Cavaliers. The squad responded in a 115-106 victory, with Kyrie Irving leading the way with 34 points and Kevin Durant following up with 25. The Nets are set to square off against Jayson Tatum and the Boston Celtics on Sunday in the first round of this year’s playoffs. Skip Bayless and Shannon Sharpe predict who wins the Celtics-Nets matchup.

And just because a player has a better handle, doesn't mean that they're more dynamic. Curry is better at more things on a basketball court than Kyrie. He's better on defense, he's a better shooter, his finishing is on par, his free throw shooting is better, and the fact that he can play on and off the ball and be more effective than Kyrie makes him easily the more dynamic player and the overall better player

Different game if the Cavs had Jarrett Allen. The Cavs had a terrible 1st quarter, but different story the rest of the game. Overcoming 20 points in the first half against a team that good is difficult, but I hope they learn they can't just do that. It didn't help that Okoro was, once again, an offensive liability. As of this post, the Cavs got one more chance, but admittedly I'm looking forward to a healthy squad next year. IF HEALTHY, they should be a top 3 team in the league.
Nets play down to their competition, which is worrisome. But the Nets can also play with the best of them. When they keep the game close they are 8-4, which is the best in the league.

Brown, Claxton and Drummond are ending up being crucial role players. Everyone else is a disappointment. Patty Mills started off nice but has been mediocre since allstar. Curry is either hobbled or just regressing. Edwards has potential as a 3D, but everyone else is a no go. I would like them to try bigger lineups with a center and Griffin or Aldridge. They need to prepare for the Bucks.
