I just got in from driving my moms Sportwagen TDI. Had some fun smoking the tires hahaha its almost too easy. I'm on vacation, so I don't know all the good places to have fun driving without having to worry about cops, but this car always surprises me. The DSG is too awesome
before you buy one check to see what the megatronic computer in the tranmission is doing to these cars.They are failing.And are not covered on the power train warranty even through its inside of the transmission.Don't get ripped off.
I'm up against a wall at this point, I have been trying to hold out for a Sportwagen with AWD, GDI 170hp TDI and a manual since 2010. Now I can either get a Sportwagen TDI manual or an electric Focus...old lady won't let me keep the 2011 Mustang 5.0 any longer :(
Power and fuel economy is better than what the Prius can do.. The Prius will be cheaper overall but at what cost? Fun, power and way cheaper interior materials.
@Raith83 I don't think Audi offers the combo of Quattro and TDI in the USA. Not really sure what you get for the $15,000.00 premium besides a four-ringed badge!

In the aftermath of Dieselgate, the complements to the TDI engine did not age well...

Now it just needs 4motion AWD and I can replace my Volvo XC 70 with a snow capable diesel and not have to wait for the Sube Outback diesel!

The jetta wagon and the golf wagon look exactly the same
They are the exact same car the Model Name is just diffrent
ya but diesel is still more expensive. so i guess u would be paying the same for gas except u get a less noisier engine
