Painting the Soviet SU-100 for Flames of War

  • We've had several requests on how I we painted our Soviet Tanks. Here's a Painting tutorial of the method I use to get the soviets out onto the table in a reasonable amount of time.
    Paints used
    Vellejo Luftwaffe Camo Green
    Vellejo German Camo Bright green
    Vellejo Buff
    GW Nuln Oil
    GW Waywatcher Green glaze
    Army Painter Gun Metal
    Vellejo German Grey
    Mig Pigments: Europe Dust, Track Brown, rust and Black

    I painted my T34/85s on German Field Grey. Would another colour help me out, like German Dark Green
    For instance.

    Awesome job… Blasphemous to paint Soviet tanks in German colors… Lol 😂 .. no but really it looks great and if I have to use German colors too get the colors I’m after… who cares what the name of the paint is… The absolute beauty of this is I own all the colors already… nothing additional to purchase 😁
