I'm really afraid the melakartha tradition may decline, as there still hasn't been a person even half as skilled as Rajam sir to deal with the Vivadhi ragas...
Wow... Just finding *audio* recordings of S Rajam and especially VVS is rare as it is. That you even had a video is amazing. Audio is distorted, but what you can make out is still something.
Exhilarating to hear the singing by Raju Mama (my mother's elder brother). What a voice, what gnanam! Greatly blessed he was by Goddess Saraswathi.

he is one of the greatest living legends of Carnatic music! It is my good fortune that he is my Guru
