My pranams to Tamils and Tamil land.. their patronage and support to music is unmatched.. their love to Telugu music saints are adorable.. Long live Tamils... Regards Telugu Thambi
Dearest Mrs. Ragunathan- the best singer and my greatest inspiration. Long live her soulful singing. Always learning and practicing from her precious recordings. Thank you for this marvelous upload.
all these deep devotional songs by so many great devotees of lord rama are in telugu the desa bhashalandu telugu lessa as said by sri krishna deva raya we are still too truly fortunate to listen to these songs of for all times
At the risk of upsetting the Sudha Raghunathan fans, she's certainly technically accomplished but lacks the bhava to really touch a persons' heart....her guru MLV was inspirational with some of her music, whilst keeping in line with GNB's "chevuku kalam" style...However I admit that this early recording is certainly better than some of her more recent releases.
This is a good one from Sudha Ragunathan . Her recitals now a days is not very impressive . May be our expectations are high. I hope she gets back to her form.Best wishes
very likely jealous of tamils who are world fame nobel prize winners like cv raman and chndraseker, but this tamil lady is close to these eminent tamils not in physices but in music.god bless to her. she is a huge talent any throw of stone would return and hit the person thowing so to speak literally and if she ahs a fan club good luck they cando lot of charitities. ihave her few dvds also. am ai a fan?i have so many great singers like nithasree, priya sisters as well as her to follow.
Neee daya raada , could have been in much slower pitch, this raaga is for invoking the lords sympathy hence a slow pitch is melodious and invokes the inner soul
First of all, any kind of music transcends religion, caste, creed, and language. Any person can perform and listen to any music - in a way it is the truest expression of free will. That's why music breaks barriers, and brings people together. True fans of music, appreciate a form of music for it's musicality and nothing else. In short - the first part of your comment is complete rubbish.
A wonderful lady, Tamilnadu has given to the music world. I am her fan and I simply adore her. Long live Sudharaghunathan.
Wow!!! 14 years ago. What a sea of change in SR.

Golden era of Mrs. Ragunathan's illustrious Sangeetham. What a voice and control of brighas. Enchanting and soul stirring.

Excellent !! Thanks to recent torch bearers.. Carnatic music is still alive :)
Blazing intensity and beautiful melodicism (as beautiful as Sudha´s face and sari) - luv it!

Slow tempo, not pitch. A slow tempo would be better but she belongs to GNB school so u can't expect this any different.
Mami comment: Sari border nalla irruku. ;) Pudavai color nalla irruku.
superb
@alakraman May be there is no one to tell that direct after the demise of her guru M LV.She is one of the best among the fasionable singers
what alapana is she rendering

...that's the Pot calling the Kettle Black...make a valid argument instead of getting personal....
Why are the Indian commentators here so crude and vulgar?
They can't digest a lady being so successful. Ironically and Especially other ladies.
I want to criticize - uvchharana (pronunciation) in Telugu needs more attention to details could have made the work perfect!!!!
