I salute Shanti Hiranand and Radha Vishwanathan who were life ling shishya, 50+ yrs to these two Goddesses, never staked claims, remained invisible, a philosophy these two "shishya" left for mere mortals like me .....

A grand tribute to the father of Nation Mahatma Gandhi who was assassinated in 1948 by Natthuram Godse. Smt Subhalakshmi was a leading vocalist of the country. She and Pandat Jasraj has paid a beffitting tribute Gandhi ji. Great.
classical sangeet A truer assessment of the impact of Gandhi his non-democraticly elected Nehru with his nepotistic dynasty has yet to be made. As has the motives and intentions of the social democrat Nathuram Godse. The voice of Godse is finally being heard via CZcams.
Funnily only Hindus have the outlook or stupidity to sing idiotic lyrics such as Ishvar Allah tere naam, when Gandhi offered to sing his favorite line in the local mosque he was told to 'Feck off' or words to that affect in no uncertain terms by his Muslim brothers.

That is incorrect. She did not perform on October 2nd 1947,instead a vinyl was flown to him by sadashivam with Gandhi' favourite song hari tum haro, more about this story is on the website msstribute in sadhashivam' own words.

How can any one say horrible things like this about a great singer. If u really respect MS amma so much,inculcate her good qualities.
