I purchased it primarily to listen the classics of MSS ji, Sri Jesudas and Sri Balamuralikrishna. Since then I heard this song countless times. I will continue to enjoy this classic and it takes me to a different world. Vulgar videos and gimmick videos receive millions of hits and views but, so sad, views for this classic are few lakhs. Anyhow, who am I to question others' tastes. Those who listen these classics are blessed.

Today 10.5.2017. Chitra pournami night. It is said that if one watches and enjoys the full moon in the night it is as good as worshipping Sri Jagadamba Lalita Parameswari. It is no exaggeration that I enjoyed every moment of this remarkable rendition by MS Amma. She is another mother with great compassion oozing out. I can never cease to wonder the marvellous Niraval of this starting around 17th minute to 25th minute of this recording. Others are spellbound. Watch Kunnakudi Sri Vaidyanathan sitting next to Vikku Vinayakaram Ghatam enjoying every bit. He also knows that we have to just bow our head forever to the greatness of Goddess Amba .i.e M S S the great.

M S Amma has always excelled in her exposition of karaharapriya, and I have had the good fortune of having listened to her karaharapriya quite a few times in live concerts, including an RTP. Even her interpretation of Annamacharya's immortal kriti with neraval at jagadeka pati mela is amazing. But then, her neravals always seem to mesmerize me taking me to different world altogether.
Thanks to my dear father (late) Sri Khandrika Sambasiva Rao garu, I had the fortune of learning some ragas out of which Khanraharapriya is the best. Also, it should be heard from Chembai's Voice. In Visakhapatnam in 1936 when Chembai sang this, it can be heard from a distance of 10 miles without any speakers then.
So many a time I happened to listen and heard her concerts directly and I feel how many pranams of we make it will be less for her way of presenting any song High regards to her andto the organizers like you please

Today 10.5.2017. Chitra pournami night. It is said that if one watches and enjoys the full moon in the night it is as good as worshipping Sri Jagadamba Lalita Parameswari. It is no exaggeration that I enjoyed every moment of this remarkable rendition by MS Amma. She is another mother with great compassion oozing out. I can never cease to wonder the marvellous Niraval of this starting around 17th minute to 25th minute of this recording. Others are spellbound. Watch Kunnakudi Sri Vaidyanathan sitting next to Vikku Vinayakaram Ghatam enjoying every bit. He also knows that we have to just bow our head forever to the greatness of Goddess Amba .i.e M S S the great.

Very well said srinivas ji ! It appears as though this raga was created for her throat! M S Amma has always excelled in her exposition of karaharapriya, and I have had the good fortune of having listened to her karaharapriya quite a few times in live concerts, including an RTP. Even her interpretation of Annamacharya's immortal kriti with neraval at jagadeka pati mela is amazing. But then, her neravals always seem to mesmerize me taking me to different world altogether.

Thanks to my dear father (late) Sri Khandrika Sambasiva Rao garu, I had the fortune of learning some ragas out of which Khanraharapriya is the best. Also, it should be heard from Chembai's Voice. In Visakhapatnam in 1936 when Chembai sang this, it can be heard from a distance of 10 miles without any speakers then.
