Erwan doing more work than Department of Tourism.
Agree!
There were even tourism campaign of Zamboanga vedeo that breaks my during the viewing it was ones played the famous woman of the universe,,It only two tribal group that they always appreciate during the vedeo the makers of the vinta flag and other were not mention,it was not her fault cause she didn't knows about the minority groups really from that moment I unfollow her ,I through that don't no longer wanted to watch any of her vedeo, formerly I was so excited in every vedeo she had cause I'm her greatest Fan❤️
More like hes hunting for new recipes for his restaurants.
True lol. Erwan and his team deserves the James Beard.
true..,
I'd say Erwan is more Filipino than the average Filipino. He has raised the bar. The Philippine government should recognize him for his efforts.
Agree 101% . Quality Vlogging. No toxicity unlike most of what we are seeing today ...
Most Filipinos don't have the resources to explore indigenous cultures 😑
If you say, he's average then it's your opinion. No problem with it. But for me, he's done more than any other Filipino to promote the country and its culture.
eeh not really
@@danilosequitin525oo naman. Mapera eh😂😂😂😂😂😂
For those who wants to try this dish who are in Metro Manila, you can look for the resto name Dulang in Padre Faura Manila City. They serve authentic Tausug delicacies.
Iniisip ko Rin Yan since napanood ko mga Videos dito Sa FEATR. Thanks for the recommendation.
As a Maguindanaon/Iranun-Ilocano myself i love Erwan's interest and appreciation for Moro food and wanting to put it in the spotlight talking about Filipino cuisine. Oftentimes it gets forgotten whenever Filipino food is mentioned in conversations. Which is unfortunate because Its diverse and tells about another side of the Philippines thats still left undiscovered
As a basileñio, I am greatly honored for someone to appreciate our delicacy and culture, thank you for visiting!
I’m a Singaporean Muslim and would love to visit this side of Philippines for its Muslim community and halal food 😻
I love how Erwan promotes Philippine culture... and his tagalog is on point :)
I appreciate how youre opening up the other islands in the philippines to the public. I hope mawala yung pagiging ignorante ng mga tao na galing sa metro manila who think that there isnt civilization outside of the capital region and sana mawala yung pagiging entitled nila sa mga bisaya at sa iba pang mga tao in the islands.
one of the things that amazes me with this channel -- apart from the stellar content, is that:
1. no burn-in ads
2. no Patreon link
3. no mention of big-pocket sponsorships from either private companies, TV studios or local/national government
4. produces high-end content.
where do you guys even get the funding to produce these things???
nonetheless, keep up the great work.
We do branded content from time to time and that helps fund everything :)
Unang beses ko makatikim niyan sa okasyon ng mga Muslim, panalo ang lasa. Very heartwarming kung idi-describe yung food.
I just loved and overwhelmed by viewing this video, Mr. Erwan is so Filipino in heart, especially when he appreciates the tribal groups that he mentioned, that food were served by this tribal groups even UpTo this day that is influenced by precolonial era food menu,,as a SAMA tribe so proud and thanks to Mr ERWAN for not being racist,,,May you be blessed ❤️
Introduced Tiyula itum to a good friend from Bulacan. She loved it, and considered making it herself and sharing something new to her family.
I love FEATR because they are really giving importance of our culture! Sarap sa pakiramdam na pinagmamalaki naten ang sariling atin! So so proud with these kind of content. Showing Philippines to the world!
No one has ever ventured into that part of the Philippines. Great job!
As a Tausug, I appreciate this sooo much! It is my favorite soup. Great work, Erwan and your team.
Great Content Erwan, Thanks for visiting that part of our Country. You just earned my utmost respect as Filipino. Stay safe!
Mindanaon Food is the most underrated cuisine in the Filipino Cuisine Context .... This is because of the stigma that was created which is still there due to fake news ... thank you somuch Erwan
Liking this video because Erwan's Tagalog is getting better and Tiyula Itum soup looks so yummy!

I agree. I cooked this on a Christmas celebration several years ago and it was a bomb!
love content like this, featuring different regions/provinces in the Ph. I am filipino and I am guilty for not being aware of the culture in Mindanao. I would love to discover it someday.
Yup. He is doing great by introducing culinary from Mindanao. This needs to be cooked in every Filipino home as well. This is on par with adobo.
I saw Erwan last week in Uptown BGC together with his team. He was really nice. We had a very short conversation while we were in the escalator. Haha! I praised him for having great contents. 😉

Atlast!!! You finally went to my hometown and tried tyula itum!!! Hayyyyyssss gusto ko tuloy maka attend wedding para lang sa tyula itum
Indeed, the Philippines has so much more to offer.
I’m looking forward to the rest of this series.
Anything that has burnt coconut in it is a best dish. Tried it with Dinuguan and it was the best version I've ever tasted.
😅 Made this once before. Messed up the coconut bc all I had was shredded young coconut, and put too much water. Ended up with a textured soup. Didn't feel right, but tasted incredible. Will redo. 😂
Recipe from the cookbook "Also Filipino." People, please share and celebrate the unsung Filipino recipes that no one knows about, and everyone should know about.

Malamawiiiiii ❤ my favorite beach. Thanks Erwan for featuring my beloved Basilan 😍
So unique - the use of roasted/broiled coconut meat to flavor meat.
I heard from the soldiers who serve in Basilan that the food is quite unique and tasty. The best beaches that would rival Boracay or any other famous beaches are in Basilan as well.
Looks pretty similar to Beef Hinalang. Need to make this one day and eat it.
Awesome video again. Thank you Erwan

Yes tiyula itum is very delicious… I once experienced it to one of my classmate in Mahalika Village way back on my college days…. 👍👍
In my place in Bicol the older folks usually burnt the coconut not as burned and flaky black as that just to get a little better aroma as well an old ways to get a better flavor and I guess it depends how it's region develops its own ways, it's good.
I feel like Erwan should be a Philippine Ambassador for something. I dunno maybe food, tourism, culture. He and his team are doing so much sa pagpromote ng bansa natin and pag educate hindi lang sa ibang lahi kundi para sa atin na din mismong mga Pilipino.
Amazing
