- The NFL Playoffs are back to wreak havoc on both our livers and our social lives once again. This year has been entirely volatile: No one team is safe. Fourteen teams have a chance to make it to the Super Bowl (with varying odds) and there is no real easy "out" of the bunch. Even the shitty teams that somehow made it in will make it hell to be knocked out.
What should you expect from this playoff run? Hopefully shittloads of glorious memes. The season was chock-full of them. Maybe January will be full of them as well. - Sport
just the line, "have you considered that the steelers are going to the super bowl" made me laugh so hard.

Don't get me wrong, I didn't WANT Pats vs. Bucs as the Super Bowl matchup, but there was a tiny part of me expecting it because the NFL season always seems to end with a "We're All Fucked!" matchup. And the fact that, thanks to the absolute trashing the Bills handed to the Pats, we know for a fact the "Doomsday" matchup I was afraid of has no chance of happening. makes me a verry happy boy indeed.
Although, given what's going on in the Eagles/Bucs game as I type this comment, there's still a good chance the OTHER half of that "Doomsday" scenario makes it in. So we're not COMPLETELY out of the woods yet.

Good call on that. Also kinda surprised Zac Taylor didn't get any traction in coach of the year. It was just over a year ago it seemed like lots of people wanted him gone. Pretty impressive job this year on his behalf.

Eagles were actually watchable this season, and they somehow made the playoffs even when everyone said they would be in the bottom 3 worst teams in the NFL. Good sign for the future. Hopefully Hurts can develop. And if not? Trade one of those firsts this year for a first next year so you have a fallback option. Hopefully a sign of good things to come!

The only 2 teams that haven't made an appearance yet are the Denver Broncos (won Super Bowl 50 in 2015) and New York Jets (haven't been to the playoffs since 2010).

I haven't been this exited for a playoffs in idk how long, every single opening match-up is perfect and has some history behind it or is a division rivalry, and the only one that doesn't (bengals-raiders) is going to be a battle of hungry teams in who ends their playoff drought.
