- To kick off the start of the 2022 operating season, the Black River & Western Railroad hosted a photo charter featuring their steam locomotive No. 60. For the charter, 60 was backdated to its 1970s appearance, and was given a short freight consist to perform runbys with. In addition, the engine performed runbys on trackage it normally wouldn't venture onto, that being the section between the current Flemington station and the original CNJ station. 60 put on a fantastic show throughout the day, pushing the speed limits and sounding its GTW 6 Chime whistle long and loud.

Well done. Nice action. Scenes. And 4K.
Wow, it’s the 1970s all over again!
Nice
I’ve always wondered how the headlight works, Is it just light from the fire?
The headlight is powered by a generator known as the dynamo. The dynamo generates electricity by using steam from the engine, which is then used to power the headlight.
Is that the mail?
