- These are the best 5 weapons in chivalry 2. Consider this to be a quick chivalry 2 tier list of the top tier. Hopefully following these tips and tricks will make you a better chiv 2 player. I have made this list more for team objective mode and free for all then for dueling.

Dane Axe fucks ngl. I love that you can have 2 just to chuck one at someone. Sometimes I get too carried away and throw both, then end up stuck with some random weapon I had to pick up 😂
I feel that I do that a lot also or just say f it and use my fists even if I die

Sneaking up on people with the maul gets me insane amounts of kills
I really like the war axe with a tiny shield. Reach is an issue at times, but damage is heavy,it's very fast,good recovery. And viggest bonus is i can use it at 100 percent efficiency at all times, hallway, front of a battle line, on the flank, the limited reach is very helpful in one way, nothing is gonna stop that power swing but an actual block. Not a pole, team mate, or a wall like frequently with the two handed weapons
And yet, I still enjoy running around with a two handed spear.

Ambusher with either dagger or hatchet is super underrated imo, can get so many kills if you know what youre doing
Longsword was my favorite when I first starting playing, been using it again recently and it’s so much fun and so satisfying to use, very versatile weapon that does good against any class. It is an elegant weapon for a more civilized age.

When i was a noob, i remember trying out the longsword for the first time and instantly fell in love with it. Absolutely one of my favorite weapons in game

I have always preferred battle axe over dane axe...there is no better feeling than flanking a big group with the battle axe and slaughtering unsuspecting opponents.

Throwing the Dane axe is so accurate. Every Dane axe user always throws one or both of them and it kills you every time
Depends on the game mode. I have 700 hours in chiv 2. Rapier and one handed sword dominate in arena modes. Some weapons like the one handed warhammer and long sword are more versatile for both small and large modes.
Bowstaff go hard in arenas
Yeah I use 1 handed sword almost exclusively in arena and am essentially never in a disadvantage
The maul hammer it's freaking awesome, I feel like Thor when I use that one.
Executioner’s axe bonus damage vs knight and footman is the reason I go with it over dane axe. But dane axe is faster in every aspect I believe.

Ah the longsword. Has good range, good damage, good speed. It is good at pretty much everything. Now it isnt great at everything, other weapons do certain stuff better obviously. But it is good at everything. Plus i always love using it for my Vanguard.

I'm kinda mixed between Messer and Polehammer, both work pretty well for me and are insanely good at crowd control, but I feel a bit more in the direction of the Polehammer because I like the class abilities more

I could never get used to the halberd, idk what makes it the best because to me it seems super sluggish without the big fat counter windows.

The glaive is unpredictably fast

Personally i like quarterstaff, it hits very fast and has hood reach. It also somehow 4-5 hits someone

I like the Warhammer, the combos always catch even the most skilled players off guard and decimate slash spammers in droves.
I just got the game while it was free and the only weapon I consistently do really well is the Longsword. The balance feels just right and it was the first weapon that put me on the top of the board.
I like the quarter staff for its speed and dps
lowkey officer gameplay is fun not only cuz big sword but you get to pretend to yell at people to charge to their virtual deaths
The weapons you mentioned require some skill to use effectively, but for pubstomping any kind of two handed axe will outperform any other weapon.
It’s very extremely rare anyone can out pub stomp me and I prefer ls, gs or messer.
@@StridahsAngels yeah same here. I still do better with two handed axes when I tryhard, wich is why I prefer not to use them. They're a cheap way to get kills, they need a nerf at least in their attack speed.
Idk what it's called but the pointy club is fire too you can swing hella fast and it doesn't have a lot of damage but a heavy swing destroys multiple people at once
I've been slowly ranking up all the 2h to rank 20 - despite wanting to hate swords they are best. speed and fluidity beat raw damage 7 times out of 10 for me lol

I use the heavy Calvary sword with a short sword back up. Let me tell you… it’s difficult to fight against me. I got a shield that I normally throw at the start and just go to town.
I've yet to adapt to its timing, I'm pretty much always a dead man when someone pulls the cavalry sword on me in a Duel lol
@@seanmoran9383 I have trouble fighting against it all the time and it’s my primary. The speed of it along with the damage is really OP/Annoying.
@princedaemontargaryen4971 My go to is the longsword or the glaive, that extra reach and speed is my only real defense against the calv sword but even that ain't enough lol

Everyone sleeps on the poleaxe so hard. It's basically a greatsword with the axe damage buff that deals extra stamina damage.
To me I choose the falcion when I play knight I’m pretty good with it
I always play guardian with a shield and axe or mace. I beat almost everyone who isn't using a war club but still have no idea how you use a longsword without running out of stamina instantly, some people seem to have infinite block stamina, the longsword flies out of my hand after about two hits
Because they know how to counter. The reason you have stamina as guardian is because the shield is carrying you
Stop holding block and go for counters any good player will drain your stamina or straight up kick you if you hold block
Hammer has a really fast downswing that can throw some people off.
I'd say poleaxe but if we're being entirely honest, halberd is just poleaxe but better in every way.

The spear hit markers are OP. It's accuracy is 100%. Regarless if you're aiming or not.

Halberd has been my bread and butter since day one.
I find that the morning star with the shield can be broken sometimes lol. With constantly circling your opponents with a combination of delayed heavy attacks really Fuck ur opponents head up.
Every weapon is top tier when used correctly. All comes down to gameplay

Almost zero stamina drain from misses or blocking.
Insane speed due to being able to use both ends.
Its own unique attack animations that most people aren’t used to.
A lot of people say its not good for group fighting, but I think it’s one of the best.
Since you can block/hit with both ends you can be getting swung at by 3 or 4 at a time and still be dealing damage.
Personally great mace feels really steong
