  • The hug between Xi Jinping and Vladimir Putin was a symbol of a changed world order. Most videos discussing the Xi-Putin summit have not looked at the details of what the leaders agreed.
    Xi outlined 5 principles governing the relationship between China and Russia that aim to restore balance to the world order after the American "unipolar moment". These principles could change the world order.
    But these principles also contain a coded diplomatic message to Europe and another world leader hugged by Xi Jinping - French President, Emmanuel Macron. What is China's message to Europe? - I explain in this video.

    China signed "No Limits" friendship Agreement with Russia. Nothing wrong they are closed to each other.

      I think Xi did hug Macron as well. That's they attitude China towards France, man up and face the bully.

      that is right - the point was to show Xi hugs more leaders than Putin, and was offering a different role in the world to the EU.
