Just for your information Dugin characterized modern russian islamic philosopher Geydar Dzhemal(Jamal) as his teacher, they were close friends in early years and were in good relations afaik until Dzhemal passed away in 2016, even they had serious differences in views. However followers of Dzhemal doesn't consider Dugin as friendly to Islam. And if you compare works of Dugin and Dzhemal, Dzhemal has a more deeper and more structured thinking, Dzhemal's works are a very serious contribution to the modern islamic thought.

Imo, there is nothing dangerous about Dugin and his works. He is just a modern traditionalist. The actual problem is that the globalists and the liberals have deviated to such an extreme of political spectrum that almost any traditionalist has became a fascist for them. The good thing about Dugin is that he is very mature and profound thinker. He provokes thinking in the others, which is actually good, but he also insists that he has not a complete philosophical system of his own, he is very open about future developments.

In western media Dugin is not the same as he manifests himself in Russia. His anti-liberal model implies something similar to imperial russia and mussolini's italy. He literally wants to return estate-based society, he praises radical social inequality and sanctity of those in power. He may sound wise and mature at first time but i'm afraid he is insane man that romanticize everything that belongs to ancientry (by the way, In his youth he's been a member of occult fascist marginal group). Also he supports russian nationalist philosopher Ivan Ilyin who had been an admirer of hitler and mussolini back in 30's of XX century.

"Eastern" authoritarianism, tribalism, clan oriented bigotry? The "west" isn't overly intrusive in regards to other society's, as long as they aren't causing external problems or abusing a large segment of their own people. The obnoxious/arrogant segment that seeks ideological conformity is smaller in the West, but some neo-liberal "progressive" forms are disproportionately influential.

Sometimes the translator/mediator is the key to transmit the desired message. In Dakota culture, when two people who don’t know each other meet, they use a mediator that is known and trusted by both. All conversation with no communication between the two strangers goes through the mediator until the two parties have understanding of the position of the other through the mutual trusted source. Thus trust is created and expands accordingly. The Native American has yet been given a position at the world discussion table and it Shows for the worlds conflicts. their depth of interpersonal philosophy to the world would be wise to include in any discussion today.

1:03:40 Dugin's (sometimes fierce) rhetoric is aimed at making others to think. How people react to this is a sign of how much they are mature intellectually, at what level they are fit to follow the argument and object. His rhetoric is mainly intellectual provocation, which is natural for a philosopher, imo.

Here is another interview of Dr Michael Millerman: czcams.com/video/JFI6fg8NITg/video.html . During the last part of the interview, the interviewer asks about his origins and when he replies that he was born in Canada but his parents came from former Soviet Union, the interviewer very politely and subtly (or not so much) asks the same old question typical of all these people - since he talks so much about Alexander Dugin and perhaps likes some of his ideas, then why doesn't he relocate to Russia, goes back to where he came from (even though he wasn't born there) ??? There goes the slogans of respect for freedom of speech, freedom of thought, freedom of this or that... down the drain and your origins are questioned immediately, as if that must have something to do with it and therefore you have no place in this liberal paradise!!! A shocking example of the _illiberalism at the heart of liberalism,_ of intellectual and ideological racism.

Interesting. Someone made that same suggestion to me, to relocate to Russia, just because I said I consider Putin a good leader. At the heart of every corrupt ideology lies the hidden opposite. Orwell made that clear also. This hidden opposite is now becoming very visible. The true Yin Yang philosophy, broadly unknown to us, is quite helpful to penetrate the machinery behind the scene that creates the illusion of a wholesome narrative. They know these universals do exist but they need to be erased from consciousness to further their agenda. In a sense, this is a war on intangible things that underlie everyday reality and by attacking them, reality itself changes profoundly. To call these people satanists is not a naive term: satan is a symbol for overthrowing natural order. By attacking the universals of good and evils, they have handicapped us greatly to understand what is going on.
