    When Ray Lewis, Ed Reed, and Troy Polamalu were in there prime was when the Steelers vs Ravens rivalry was an all time high. I think it’s the best rivalry in football.

    I must tell you Troy Polamalu was an amazing football player. He played like he was on fire. His hair was insured for one-million dollars. He was a stud of a football safety. He was really good. He was a ball hawk!!!! You'll see!!!! His actions on the field spoke for themselves. He was BAD to the BONE!!! He had SO much fun out there. To him it was FUN..... He made good players look bad. He was that skilled!!!!!!!!! A true great! Enjoy.........

  • @WindWalkerDrones
    @WindWalkerDrones Před 2 lety +2

    Troy. Offenses tried to plan around him alone. It proved extremely difficult, basically the Steelers let him do what he wanted on the field without question. They trusted his instincts and to be at the right place at the right time. It's was difficult to prepare for him because you never knew where he was going to be or what he was going to do.

    The funny thing about Troy was he was ambivalent about the game itself. Here he was, the greatest, after Ronnie Lott, that I ever saw at the position. He played with passion and abandon. He tried to separate you from your senses. He was a nasty ball hawk. He gave so much to his work. Yet, he claimed many times that he didn't really love the game. In opposition to this you have LT who loved the game. How could someone be that good and that committed, yet not love the job? A paradox indeed.

    Reed was someone you’d want because of his Iq on top of amazing ball hawk skills. People feared Reed for his interceptions, of course the man could level you if he wanted...HOWEVER I pick Troy. Troy made people fear him in every way. He was around the ball every single play. He had instincts for a player I’ve still never seen before today, able to predict new plays in seconds before they happen just by simply glancing at it. On top of that, yes Reed hit like a truck, but TROY hit like a goddamn tank and would shave years off your career. Reed was feared for his interceptions and IQ but Troy was feared for his power and instincts. I pick Troy any day and I regret nothing. Best safety of all time and top 3 defensive players of all time for me.
