I totally forgot about Demarco Murray. That's how good Henry is. I completely forgot about one of the, if not the, best power backs in the league when Henry was drafted.

With respect to the Marshawn Lynch comparisons - Lynch ran at ~85% of his max speed most of the time but gained ludicrous stability so he could take hits from linebackers (220 lbs) AND linemen (280 lbs). Henry runs at 95% of his max speed and can shrug off hits from linebackers and db's and the occasional lineman. Lynch was perfect for Seattle as we had a shit O line much of the time so we needed a RB who could make the first two guy miss while Henry has been perfect for the Titans as he can get through the line and become untouchable.
That man has size and athletic drive in his training too.... and like u said he has great top end speed best comparison I ever heard was that he runs like a locomotive. . And ain't nobody trying to get hit by that train

when I played college ball (45 years ago! :-), the stiff arm wasn't such a weapon; when someone gives you their arm you take it; both hands on the wrist area like you're holding a baseball bat and then you try to break his arm clean off..they don't stiff arm much after that....oh well...
Travis Henry had 4800 yards in a season and hardly ever saw the 4th quarter because of leads.. top 5 best hs running backs ive ever seen or heard of. I seen him run like 30 yards with a guy dragging behind him holding onto his jersey... he's also in the Tennessee Vols hof.

It’s crazy seeing him hurdle someone at that size too if someone does go low on him
His senior year, he averaged 420 yards & 5.5 TDs per game 😮💨😮💨

No shit, Marshawn wasn’t that good really. Top 5 for a good number of years but was NEVER the best. That’s Adrian Peterson. Henry is clearly the best rn. Leveon Bell was better than Lynch, AP was the best. Lesean McCoy was better too, I can’t believe that the beast quake against the saints turned this dude Lynch into some all time great lol, he had literally 4 good years in a row and 2 to start his career where he JUST got to a 1000. It’s literally 5 1000 yard seasons and one 1500 yard season. That’s it.
I love Marshawn Lynch but I got to stick with my boy Derrick Henry. Just makes more sense in the long run. And you are 100% correct about his top end speed. They used to say and still say that once he gets going his top end just keeps climbing.

I was working a lot a few years and didn’t watch a lot of football but then I joined a fantasy football league at work so I tried to find out who was good I seen Derrick Henry in the huddle in preseason(didn’t even see him carry the ball )and I was like that’s my guy and he was and still is
Tbh I think this is going to be Henry best year so either him or lynch him their prime we can't decide yet we haven't seen the best of Henry.
Lynch is amazing, but Henry’s breaking records year after year, yards after contact, yards per game. Lynch wasn’t the star of his offense, where Henry is option one and usually two.
