- This week Seth does another Tube Screamer shootout, bigger and better than the last one. He compares the Earthquaker Devices Dunes, Wampler Clarksdale, RYRA 808, Seymour Duncan 805, JHS Bonsai, Mythos Herculean and Walrus Audio Warhorn.

The SD 805 steals the show for me. Great demo 👍🏻
Love my eqd dunes!
The 805 and Clarksdale floated my boat...most of the others were too mid-humpy yet also muffled for my taste.
Seems like the big setting on the Wampler makes it less compressed, more open.
I think the Bonsai covers all the sounds of the other TS you are testing, this pedal is so versatile
You gotta try the JHS Bonsai JHS setting.
Thanks for doing this! Have you tried the Cusack Screamer v2? I hear it's the best Screamer. Plus, there are the new boutique modified Maxon 808s.
Re. active controls @ 8:25 - the SD 805 has an active 3 band EQ and the Wampler has active Bass and mids but the treble is like a TS tone pot.
The big cuts out the compression
