I’m currently a freshman in college and have almost no friends. I am in a sorority and have met tons of girls but I don’t really have any close friends except for one. Other than that, I just recently joined a new church and have met some new college students. But for the most part I spend a lot of my days alone, and do most things alone. As an introvert, I like my alone time and it can be hard for me to be social sometimes, but I tend to get very lonely. I feel like I’m trying really hard but I’m still not making those deep connections no matter how hard I try. And even though it might not be true , it always seems like everyone around me has found their friends already, and isn’t looking for more.

Ah I totally feel for you and get where you are coming from! It can be so extremely hard when you feel like you are alone, especially when you're away from family and your home. I still feel like this even today but just know that you are doing everything right!
